“Cas?” Meg called from the living room in the mansion. She was standing suivant to the corpse of the owner of the mansion.
Cas stumbled upstairs and came into the living room. He fell backwards against the mur and sank down on the carpet.
Meg quickly ran towards him and bent through her knees. She took his hands and noticed the blood on his hands. “Are toi hurt?”
Cas shook his head. “No” he a dit out of breath. “It’s not my blood. It’s Frederik’s and Marcus’s” He looked at Meg, terrified.
Meg swallowed. “Did toi kill them?” she asked, though she already knew the answer....

Meg and Cas were alone again. The demon had left to get the right material to torture Cas.
“I hope toi don’t expect me to feel guilty” Meg said. “You chose to take my pain. toi can’t hold that against me”
“I’m not” Cas said. “It was the right thing to do. toi helped me through my mental breakdown. I should do something to montrer toi my gratitude”
“Cas, I only stayed with toi to gain your trust. I didn’t do it because I care for you” Meg said. She couldn’t have a fallen Angel crushing on her.

When Sam and Dean left the motel around nine o’clock the suivant morning, there was no sign of Amy anywhere, nor any other members of staff; Sam probably reckoned it was such a small motel she could run it herself, maybe with a helping hand from time to time. Looking out of the dusty Impala window, the murky March weather was certainly not doing the town of Bennington any favours; all life seemed to have been sucked out of the town along with the absent sunshine. Then again, Sam thought to himself, having four murders in the last mois probably doesn’t make a good tourist attraction.
