^^ What it says :) Enjoy!

Nerves began to build up inside of me. I couldn’t blame them, really. It had been nearly two years since I’d last seen my brother, ou talked to him face-to-face, and I felt guilty that I had let it be that long a l’espace of time. I should have at least called him, ou been to visit him here in Stanford, before now. But a small voice told me in my head that it was Sam’s fault as much as it was mine. He was the one who had walked out and left Dad and me, and the job, after all. And he could as easily have picked up the phone as I could have.
But no matter how hard I tried, the rage I had first felt when Sam had left us soon disappeared, within a mois ou two, and understanding for what he had done and worry for how he was without me took over the angry emotions. And even when I tried to find that anger now, when I was about to confront him for the first time in about twenty months, it was impossible to feel. All that was going through my mind was that if Sammy was alright, and whether ou not he’d be willing to give me a hand with the job I was going to ask him. Because I knew how stubborn he could be sometimes; it was part of who he was. He stood up Dad and went for what he wanted, and I felt a streak of admiration as I secretly wished that I had the guts to do the same at times.
Honestly, I was afraid of how I would look to my younger brother. Desperate? Guilty? Useless and lost, without Dad? And to an extent, I did feel all of those things. But I couldn’t let him see that; I had to keep my game face on, and give him something to look up to – if he did look up to me anymore. I realised with a sense of dread that I realistically had no idea how Sammy would be with me, whether it was welcoming, hesitant ou even hating towards me. I tried to push out the thought of the latter, because I didn’t know what I would do if that happened.
I tugged the keys out of the Impala’s ignition and the growl of the engine died down and stopped. I buried the keys in my jeans pocket and took a deep breath as I swung open the car door and stepped out into the cool night air and looked at the building in front of me.
The apartments looked fairly old, but sturdily built, and at the time of half an heure past midnight, only a couple of lights were spread around the front of the building. I only knew Sam’s room number, 28a, because of a rapporter from Dad nearly a an ago, when he had driven par Stanford to check up on Sam, unknowing to him. I took a guess at around where I thought this room would be located, and no lights were on around the area. What a geek boy; going to lit before three in the morning at college. I smiled to myself, despite of the nerves now knawing a hole inside of me. Maybe he hadn’t changed that much without my presence.
I jumped up the main steps, picked my way in and tracked down Sammy’s room. I stood outside the door for a moment, hoping that he would want to pick up the job again and ride with me, even for a little while. Things hadn’t been the same since he’d left. I always got the sense Dad did too, but I had missed the presence of a third Winchester a lot more. Dad knew how much I’d missed him, especially when he’d first gone away, and had always tried to involve me more, and offer company ou assistance on hunts, but I usually refused them. I preferred to work alone sometimes. But of course it wasn’t the same without Sam around, and Dad had sensed it too.
I fingered the lock pick in my hands and got to work, the door opening quietly, easily and quickly. Once I was in there I realised had no idea where I was going, so felt my way round the rooms, which were only lit par the moonlight outside. I made my way through the hallway and then found myself in the kitchen; damn it, how the hell was I meant to get upstairs to Sam?
I was finding my way to what seemed in the shadows like a staircase, when I felt a figure from behind grab my shoulders and throw me forwards. I spun round, now against a wall, and ran up to my attacker and threw my knee into his stomach. If anyone was trying to hurt my brother, they’d have me to answer to. My opponent grunted and was knocked off balance, where I pushed him to the floor, pinned down...until I saw who I been beating up. I loosened my grip on my brother’s haut, retour au début and patted him on the shoulder.
“Easy, tiger,” I said, grinning. I figured it was best to break the ice with a joke, as I did so many times. Sam’s face twisted from surprise to disbelief.
“Dean? toi scared the crap out of me!”
I couldn’t help it. “That’s because you’re out of practice.”
I caught a quick expression of a glare from my brother’s face and immediately felt a little bit guilty for being so quick to judge him; we hadn’t been together for five minutes. I soon forgot about my comment, however, when I found myself pushed away as I Lost my grip on Sam’s t-shirt, thrown to the side, and pinned to the floor par him, reversing positions.
“Or not,” I a dit with a smirk. I dropped the smile when he didn’t let go, grinning himself. “Get off me.”
Sam got up and let me catch my breath as he did the same, then held out a hand to help me up. I guess that was a good sign, anyway. Maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
Meg opened her eyes and gazed at Cas, who was still asleep. She leaned vers l'avant, vers l’avant and kissed him softly on the lips. Cas opened his eyes as Meg pulled back.
“Morning” she a dit smirking.
“Did toi have a good night?” Cas asked.
“I slept like a baby” Meg answered.
“I didn’t hurt toi last night, did I?” Cas asked concerned.
“I’m a demon, I can handle some rough sex” Meg replied. “But I think we should try to lower the volume suivant time. I think we’ve woken the neighbors”
“There’s not going to be a suivant time” Cas a dit serious. “Last night I had a fight with Dean and...

The suivant morning.
Jo woke up in her bed. Dean had told her to sleep there instead of with him. Just when things seem to go in the right direction, something was holding Dean back. Ever since that whore had shown up yesterday Dean hadn’t a dit one friendly word to her.
She came out of lit and walked into the kitchen. She saw Sam sitting at the table, tableau in the living room, apparently looking for cases on his laptop. Her mom was doing the dishes of the précédant evening. And Dean was sitting at the cuisine table, staring at his cup of coffee.
“That coffee won’t drink itself, toi know” Ellen...

The suivant morning.
Dean was lying in his lit in Rufus’ cabine when he felt someone was staring at him. He looked up and saw Cas standing at the end of his bed.
“Hello, Dean” he said.
Dean got out of lit and collected his clothes.
“It’s good to see toi again” Cas said.
Dean put on his clothes. “Wish I could say the same”
“I don’t understand. Have I done something wrong?” Cas asked.
“You mean other than leaving me in Purgatory?” Dean asked sarcastic.
Cas looked down, ashamed. “I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to leave toi there. I tried to get toi out”
“Wait”...

The demon who had been torturing Meg had left her and Cas alone for a moment, giving them, completely unintentional, the chance to say a few words to one another.
“Hmm” Meg sighed. “So…is this awkward ou what?”
Cas didn’t respond.
“Okay, listen up, I usually don’t do this, so don’t get used to it” Meg said. She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry”
Cas widened his eyes and rotated his head to Meg, but Meg was looking eyes front.
“You know, for lying to toi and not telling toi who toi are” she continued, feeling Cas’ eyes on her and so she rotated her head a well. “Believe...

Ellen walked towards Dean and Dean expected her to give him a hug. Instead she slapped him.
“What was that for?” Dean exclaimed.
“How could toi be so stupid to end up here?” she asked furious.
“I didn’t do anything!” Dean defended himself. “Cas and I were taking down Dick Roman, suivant thing we end up in Purgatory”
“And where’s Cas now?” Ellen asked, her arms crossed.
“I don’t know” Dean said. “He ditched me. Bastard”
“Guys, I’m sensing something” Anna waved her hand to draw their attention. “Someone’s here”
“Can toi tell who it is?” Ellen asked....

Daphne was still tied up in her seat, while ‘Castiel’ was watching television.
“Exactly where did sweet Emmanuel go?” he asked, keeping his eyes on the screen.
“I don’t know” Daphne answered scared. “Look, if toi don’t let me go, I’ll start screaming and then my neighbors will come”
“Then I’ll just kill them” ‘Castiel’ shrugged. “Talking about neighbors…You know Meg, the slut who lived across your house? My boss has been looking for her too”
“What?” Daphne asked breathless.
“You didn’t really think it was a coincidence she moved in there, right after...

“I arrived at Daphne’s house in the afternoon. Lex was watching TV. Shannen was not there. Lex a dit she was going to see where she was. She went upstairs, while I waited. A few minutes later she and Shannen came downstairs. Shannen was jouer la comédie strange. Her hair was messy and she wore her clothes inside out. And when I told her she turned all red. I wanted to know more, but then Daphne’s husband Emmanuel came downstairs. I didn’t even know he was in the house. I thought he was at the hospital. When he left I asked Shannen what she was doing with him upstairs and she confessed that she...

Cas was sitting at the cuisine table, staring ahead. He didn’t know what to do. A part of him wanted to stay. Daphne had saved his life. She’d taken care of him when anyone else would’ve just left him at that lake.
But another part, a bigger part, wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. It was sûr, sans danger to say that his lovely wife wasn’t so lovely at all.
So, why didn’t he just go? Because Zoey had been talking to him. She told him what really happened with Martin, their brother. How Daphne felt responsible for his death and how he, Cas, reminded her of him. Because Martin had...

Two hours later Daphne was baking cookies, while Cas was staring at the screen of Daphne’s laptop.
“How do I turn it on?” he asked careful; Zoey was in the room. She walked towards him and pointed at the start button. “This button” she a dit polite. She was still shaking from Cas’ last move. She’d had no idea he could be that strong.
“Thank you” Cas said. He looked up with chiot eyes. “Is your shoulder still hurting?”
“I’ll live” Zoey a dit soft.
“It was not my intention to cause toi pain. My first priority was protecting Daphne” Cas explained.
Zoey raised her hand....

Jack walked the steps to his front door and opened it. As he hung his manteau on the manteau rack he shouted: “Darling, I’m home!”
His wife didn’t respond, but there were noises in the kitchen, so he assumed she was cooking dîner for him. That was one of the things that made her so amazing. No matter what time he came accueil from work, she would always prepare him a fresh meal. And in return he would flirt with every woman he came across. She really deserved better.
“You know that guy I had to interrogate, the one in the hospital?” he said. “There’s something really off about him. I’m...

“What did toi do that for?” Cas asked breathless.
“I wanted to” Daphne a dit obvious. “And so did you, at least I thought toi did” She looked away. “Guess I was wrong” She got up, but Cas took her hand.
“It’s not you, it’s me” he said.
“You’ve been in a bad relationship?” Daphne guessed.
“No, that’s not the problem” Cas said.
“Believe me, I get it…It was nice to meet you” She walked to the door.
“I’ve never been in a relationship before” Cas confessed uneasy.
Daphne turned around and her eyes were big. “You have got to be kidding me” she said...

The nurse opened the door and pushed the wheelchair into the room. Daphne was sitting on the lit and at the table, tableau there was an officer standing.
“I would like to ask your patient a few questions” he cut to the chase.
“I’m not sure my patient is physically ou mentally strong enough to answer any” the doctor said, while entering the room.
“I feel fine” Cas mumbled.
“Well, toi heard him. He’s peachy. Please leave the room” the officer a dit with a wave of his hand.
“I’m not going anywhere” Daphne a dit stubborn.
“That’s okay” the officer a dit with a smug look. He rotated...

Just a short 'un, sorry guys - trying to get back into the balançoire, swing of écriture fan fic lol, it's been a few months :)

I approached Sam, who was stood at the tronc of the Impala, slowly and cautiously. Nothing like that had ever happened to either of us before, really, and it seemed that, although in a different way to me, Sam was unsure how to react. He hadn’t spoken since we’d gotten out his flat and the police and feu department had started to arrive, and I had to bring myself to the conclusion that he might be in shock. I mean, he had just seen his girlfriend die. I knew my brother, and...

Silence filled the room as Ruby and I stood together, our mission complete. I’d done it. I’d stopped the apocalypse. But something deep down told me that I was missing out on a vital detail. Hadn’t I heard Dean urgently pounding on the door a minute ou two ago? To confirmer my sanity, a smaller pounding resumed again from the other side of the door. I wondered what Dean had wanted to tell me so badly, but turned my attention back to Lillith’s body, strewn across the mottled marble floor, eyes shocked, and a single, fine, trickle of blood flowing from her mouth and onto the floor. But...

“What are toi waiting for?” he asked disappointed. Suddenly he felt a stinging pain in his heart. He loosened his tie and opened the upper buttons of his shirt.
He grabbed his chest and fell on his knees. He gasped for air, while he felt the life flow out of him. He fell on the grass, suivant to the other man, twisting and struggling, while he realized...

Inspector Anderson was lire Cas’ file when the door opened and a deputy appeared.
“Eh, Luke?” he asked careful. Anderson looked up. “Chief Barnes wants to speak with you”
“I’ll be there in a minute” Anderson promised and he looked down again.
“He a dit it was urgent” the deputy continued.
Anderson closed the file and stood. “Then I’ll be there now” he sighed and he followed the deputy outside to Chief Barnes’ office. Without knocking Anderson entered. Barnes was lire a paper, which he put down when Anderson walked towards him.
