Supernatural Question

Is Dean short, ou is Sam just tall?

The Brother's winchester are similar yet very different. One differnces is height. Anybody know how tall Sam (Jared) and Dean (Jensen) are?

I read that Jared is 6ft four inches and Dean is 6ft so in comparison Dean looks short.

Sam is just tall! Jared is 6'4". Jensen's height is listed at 6'1" just about everywhere, but unless it's their footwear, he always seems to me to be about 4 inches shorter than Jared, so possibly he's 6'. Jeffrey Dean morgan is 6'2", so yeah, they make Dean look short!

I Have read in a lot of places that Jensen is 6",and in others 6"1 so unsure about that, but Jared is definately 6"4

However, I've always imagined it another way. Yeah, Sammy is the little brother, but he's a giant because Dean always gave him his food, therefore making Dean shorter and malnourished (hence the bowlegs we constantly make fun of).

I wouldn't necessarily call a person who is 6'2" malnourished. The notion that Dean went hungry so Sam could eat is a fan fiction trope. There was only one time in canon where Dean was shown to give up nourriture for Sam (1.18 Something Wicked) and that was when he gave Sam the last bowl of Lucky Charms. Dean had already made Spaghetti-O's that he threw in the garbage instead of eating them himself. So it's not as if Dean didn't have nourriture to eat. He could have eaten the Spaghetti-O's, he just chose not to. As for his bowlegs, that is commonly seen in children who begin walking before they're developmentally ready to and also can be attributed to obesity. Mostly they're caused par genetics, though. Bowlegs being associated with malnoutrition is a common misconception and there is really no canonical evidence to support that Dean ever suffered from this affliction.

So, comparatively, Jared is quite tall. Jensen is average in height, but he just looks tiny compared to his co-star Jared Tristan Padalecki.

That's 6'1, not 6'0. 1.83 is 6ft.

Jensen's height is indeed over average, 1.85m, most people would have to raise their head to look at him. But unfortunately, he can never look tall standing with Jared, who is 1.94m. I guess that's how most people get the impression of Jensen being short, since they always appear on the media together, let alone the show.

Nah, I always perceived Jensen to be tall standing suivant to Jared. That's before I knew he was 6'1, and I was like "I hope I get that tall someday." Now I am that tall.

Teddy Sears for instance is 6'4 but doesn't look monstrously big in comparison to shorter characters on The Flash. It could also be camera angles, an actor who is 5'10 can look 6'0 depending on camera angles. Dean is tall, but he's not at that freakishly tall category.
