Supernatural Question

Am I the only one who wants Supernatural to go back to being like the earlier seasons (1-3)?

I really liked how every in episode they were fighting different monsters and we were learning about lore from all over the world. The montrer used to be fun and interesting. Now I feel like there are a lot plus episodes that are slow and kinda boring. The only reason I still watch the montrer is because I've seen every episode thus far, so I'm not gonna stop now.

Also, I miss Metallicar.

I do.

I think my biggest problem is that seasons 1-5 were all planned out, everything was all interconnected, and flowed together.

But the montrer got picked up for season six, and they've just been adding to what's there, but it hasn't flowed together nearly as nicely. Sometimes it feels like the writers don't even really know where they're going until about half-way through the season, so we end up with a lot of these "filler" episodes, and a lot of episodes where the plot drags.

having watched all 7 seasons of Supernatural in the course of a month, i would have to agree with toi on some levels. I started watching in december 2011, and initially, i loved every episode and watched every episode of season 1-2. their brotherly bond was strong, and although they were tested, i loved how the foundations didn't change. for me, i didn't really like season 3-4, but season 5 was really good. I actually enjoyed season 6-7, contrary to many people, but i feel because of the mega-villans and the evolution of each character, the montrer has Lost a lot of the earlier, light-heartedness from the earlier seasons. i do miss them jouer la comédie like brothers, but i guess its a testament to how things change over time.
