Leah Clearwater was the never the type for patience, never the type for niceness.

Never. As the saying goes, behind every chienne is a guy who made her that way. This had no end of truth.

One of her plus memorable explosions included the situation when the loup pack had discovered the joys of signing her up for things. From attending Macaroni art courses to guest lectures on childbirth.

Let's just say that if loups didn't heal as quickly as they did, the pack would be running around with a substantial amount of scars.

Over the few years, pretty much everyone had imprinted. Imprinted and for the l’amour of all that was holy, Lost any inkling of a spine. Really. There were Supernatural creatures with amazing strength, bowing down happily before imprintees who were plus often than not hardly assertive beings.

Leah tended to exclude herself from most things. So when she claimed everyone had imprinted, she meant that SHE hadn't. So now she was guilt tripped par her brother (who really should be classified as a DEMON, in her humble opinion.) into coming to some god forsaken ice hell.

Not that the cold weather would really bother her much, but she was living in the vicinity of vampires. At least, for a few days. Some kind of "family reunion".

Leah snorted and leapt over a tiny stretch of ice. Seth was virtually grown up now, for the l’amour of...he didn't need his big sister to come and drop par any more. Sure, she loved her brother and all, but honestly, the amount of bloodsuckers that would be present would have put her off immediately.

She wrinkled her nose and flexed her claws, slowing carefully, so as not to slip on the ice. The vamps had already seeped their scent into the air. She phased back, untying the small, bundle of clothes from her leg.

She dressed quickly and followed the smell unfazed par the cold. She snorted to herself once again as she pictured what humans would have thought. Here was a girl dressed as if it were the middle of summer. Sandals and all.

She took a deep breath as she neared the door of the modern house. The scent had led her right to them.

She pondered briefly if she should bother knocking since they probably knew she was there. She knocked anyway.

The door was not answered not par anyone she recognized, but that didn't matter, because even though she had no recognition of where she was, she was home.

I slowly opened my eyes. I glanced around my room, then glared at the clock. It was nine in the morning, but to me it felt like it was six. Ugh. I uncurled myself- I alwase fall asleep curled up- and got dressed. Today wasn't a very special day, so I wasn't wearing anything special. I trotted down stairs and into the living room. Christopher was sitting on the couch- he is so lucky he didn't do anything to my chevaux ou books- Elise was painting her nails, and Sara was listening to her ipod and watching Andrea and Steven-my foster father- play chess.

"Were's Billy?" I asked, plopping down on...

When I woke up, my head was throbbing like crazy. I could barly hear anything over the drum in my ears. I could feel myself laying on a bed, on haut, retour au début of neatly folding sheets. My head was propped up against about three pillows, and I felt strangly hot. It was a strange feeling because, beeing a vampire, I never get hot ou cold. A few secondes later, the burnning begain to die down and my hearing slowly came back. It was quiet, and my first thought was ' I have been taken par Maria, and my family died in vein'. That thought had barley made its way into my head, when I remembered the vampires I had...

I frowned when the almost invisble small cercle in the air and the feeling that someone was watching me disapeared. I stayed statue still for another half an hour, untill I noticed the sun begining to set. I sighed, this was the time I went hunting; dawn ou dusk every other two days. I swung my legs over the side of the lit and swung open my door. I stopped though, and quickly grabbed my mirror to make sure I didnt have any plus large traces of yellow in my eyes. It was alwase there though, a thin ring around my pupil, but when ever I got mad ou angry, ou even really, really scared, it would...

The car ride accueil was silent, ou it was for me. I could feel Andrea look over at me, concerned, every three minutes ou so. But I was staring out the window, clutching my knees so hard that I would have broken a few Bones had I been human.

As soon as we got home, I ran right up to my room and closed the door. My family noticed something was wrong and stayed away, because closing doors makes the room look smaller to me and sometimes I get clostraphobic. I climbed up to my...

I rummaged through the bags in the back siège of the car. I was looking for the hat that she had bought at the mall.

"Looking for something Dawn?" My foster sister, Elise, asked from the wheel. I glanced up.

"No, I'm not looking for anything, Elise. I'm just going through the bags for no reason at all." I said, every word dipped in sarcasm. My foster mother, Andrea, hid a smile and looked out the window, while my other foster sister, Sara, glanced into one bags, then reached down and stuck her hand in it. When she pulled it back out, she was holding my new rose Fedora that had a soft blue ribbon...

Time is complicated. It's measured par how quickly everything in the universe moves. The stars, planets, the sun, the moon, the earth, everything.

Nothing was moving in Leah's universe. Time didn't exist. At least, for that moment.

She'd seen imprinting happening. For crying out loud, Seth was thinking about it two weeks straight after he had. Until she told him to knock it off and thrown in a few threats of slow and painful castration.

But nothing prepared her for this. It felt like she'd been watching the world in grainy black and white and now all of a sudden, she was seeing it in DVD quality....
