Is S.M.'s latest novel, The Host, suitable for a 14 an old girl? It's not clear if this one is a story for adults.

O.K. Being a mother of an 8 an old and a 3 an old, I know your concern. To figure this out, let me start par asking this...Did toi let your 14 an old read ALL four livres in The Twilight Saga? If toi answered yes then The Host is perfectly fine and toi have nothing to worry about. Even if toi answered no, the most intimate chapters in The Twilight Saga makes anything remotely intimate in The Host seem even with Harry Potter romance. So finally, my answer to your question is...in my opinion....if toi have a 14 an old that wants to read anything written par Stephanie Meyer she can get her hands on, definitely encourage it all the way. If toi still have any qualms about it, read it for yourself first and make your own judgement since toi are the only one who knows your daughter well enough to know if she is ready for the book.(You will enjoy it too!)
