I've provided a light commentary, in italics, because I just couldn't help myself. (Don't worry, it's easy to ignore, if you're just here for the quotes.) Feel free to comment, I'd l’amour to know about your favoris too!

"You guys wanna go see a dead body?"
Look guys, it's the plot of the movie! What respectable young boy could resist an offer like this?

This film is really neat, as well as very awesome, too. The four main actors (Wil Wheaton, Jerry O’Connell, Corey Feldman and River Phoenix) did an awesome job in bringing their characters to life the way they did.

Also, Kiefer Sutherland, who also did a phenomenal job with the role of Ace Merrill, had this to say about his character in this really neat behind the scenes documentary titled “Walking the Tracks: The Summer of Stand par Me” (which is found on the Special Edition DVD of the movie):

“He was just a bully, toi know? He was the worst nightmare — we’ve all run into them in school. He was a bully.”

I give this film five stars (as well as two thumbs up).. :)

According to Jerry O'Connell, who played the timid Vern Tessio, director Rob Reiner was the driving force behind the boys' performances and fellowship.
"If it wasn't for Rob, the jouer la comédie wouldn't have been half as good", Jerry states.
"He really wanted us to understand our characters".

Before the actual filming began, Mr. Reiner brought the boys together in an effort to develop a genuine closeness and friendship between them.
He had chosen the four because he believed their personalities would allow them to be the characters rather than just act them.
He had them play theater...

toi and Chris hated eachother.
Well that's what toi thought until one jour he came to your rescue.
Like a superhero.
toi are in the bathroom and the mean girls are beating toi to a bloody pulp.
toi scream as loudly as possible.
toi hear footsteps and shouts.
Then toi are being scooped into someone's strong, warm, loving arms.
"C..chris I thought toi hate me."
"No. Not at all. Shhh." He cooes into your ear and then kisses toi passionatly.
Then toi realise all this time it was an act.
toi and him grow on eachother and soon enough your gettin married.

I am totally and completely in l’amour with Teddy! I haven't stopped thinking about him for the last 24 hours. But he is sooooo old now. Anyone else feel the pain!????? TEDDDYYYYYYYY!! He is so cool, immature (yay!), hilarious, and super hot.
