One of the main reasons I got into Annie's character is because I simply find her to be an intriguing character. For the most part she was very quiet and stoic but definitely has something plus going on beneath the surface. global, ensemble I like her personality. There are characters who like to play the hero and there are characters who have plus selfish desires, but feel bad for doing so (like Jean). And then there's Annie who admits that she's in it for herself but owns it lol. At least she's up front about it.
I also think she's just a badass character in general. She had that crazy slashy ring. She just doesn't seem to give a fuck. She's got her kickass fighting stance. And then there's Titan Annie which is suivant level badass lol. She was just kicking cul, ass and crunching butches the entire time! I know it's pretty dark but ya gotta admit she was boss in those scenes.
Say what toi will about Annie, but ya gotta admit that she's determined and clever. Those are two plus traits that I like in her. A clever character who knows what she's doing can be just as cool as a plus impulsive one. And Annie's got that; she didn't fall for Armin's trap and had an escape plan to boot. Likewise, she rode it out until the painful end when she couldn't fight any longer. I l’amour me a good never-back-down character.

was hilarious. Like Annie why are toi being so extra lol? toi literally did not have to do that, but toi did it anyways. Idk I think she's got some dark humor going on and I appreciate that.
Completely the opposite of what I just said, I think she's also a very sympathetic, tragic sort of character. I can't help but feel like she had been used. Her father literally told her to make the world her enemy. Like he's her father of course she's going to listen. Sure she knows right from wrong, but bottom line I'm assuming she has a lot of either l’amour and/or loyalty...maybe even fear she felt like she had to listen to him. And she pretty much did make an enemy of the world. The worst part is Bertholdt and Reiner left her behind. Honestly they couldn't do much but they didn't even try. They threw this girl under the bus and got away clean while she was imprisoned and (according to Armin) tortured. So yeah she's definitely racked up some pity points from me.
On haut, retour au début of all of the above, I think that she has a both wicked and beautiful design. I l’amour her hair (style and color) and eyes especially. The blonde is a nice color and really goes with the shade of blue her eyes are. They have a lovely shape to them as well. She has pretty lips too. She just has a cute face. And she's so small compared to like everyone but Christa lol. That's also adorable.
global, ensemble I think Annie is just a great character. From her background and personality to her looks. She's definitely one of my favori animé characters.
