Robert Pattinson has compared filming sex scenes to "doing Twister".

The 24-year-old British actor is best known for his role as romantic vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise Twilight, adapted from the novels of Stephenie Meyer. Pattinson has shot some steamy sequences with his Twilight co-star and real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, and the raunchiest are still to come in the upcoming Breaking Dawn - Part 1 which is set for release later this year.

So far in his career the gros morceau, hunk has filmed romantic sequences with beautiful stars such as Uma Thurman in Bel Ami - which is released this an - and Emilie de Ravin in last year's success Remember Me. Pattinson insists shooting sex scenes is never a big deal though, whoever he's filming with, as he thinks it's rather like playing the populaire family board game Twister.

"It's always awkward, in a way, doing it with anybody," he said. "But at the same time... it really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister."

Pattinson also discussed the still from the upcoming Breaking Dawn which was recently released. In the image, Pattinson and Stewart's characters Edward and Bella are seen in a romantic clinch on their fictional honeymoon. Pattinson found it hilarious that one of the most fundamental scenes in the film has already been revealed.

"I l’amour how they release that for the first one," he laughed. "They just give it all away."

While the sex scene between Pattinson and K-Stew seems the hot topic of conversation in récent weeks, Rob's hair has also caused controversy, as the actor debuted a new reddish style on The Golden Globes' red carpet.

Pattinson a dit of his new hairdo: "I had to keep switching it between two movies. I thought it was a nice change."
