I'm sorry, I haven't read any of the livres I listed, so I have no idea if my recommendation will be appropriate ou something you'd be interested in.
Anywhoo, I recommend Crank par Ellen Hopkins. It's a very good book about a girl who becomes addicted to drugs. For all I know toi might've already read it...

The Inheritance Cycle par Christopher Paolini (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr.)

Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Series par Michael Scott. (The Alchemyst, The Magician, The Sorceress, The Necromancer, The Warlock.)

I just finished a book called "The Mark of the Demon"by Diana Rowland.I was really surprised at the outcome. I also like "Once Dead Twice Shy". I can't remember the author,but it's a really great book.I would recommend them to anyone.
