Any one ever tried kimchi?

So we actually have kimchi at our local asian store and I always been curious to try. I had a friend who has tried it and told me it's good but I also wanted to hear from other people if it's delicious? Also how do toi eat kimchi, do toi just eat straight out of the thingy ou do toi have to prepare ou cook it? ...of I could research it but curious to hear from other people.

Yeah I really l’amour it. I eat it as a side dish with riz and vegetables ou noodles. toi can eat it as is ou toi can heat it up in a pan ou with other foods like a stir fry. I just prefer eating it as a sharp/spicy side dish. It loses its crunch when toi heat it.

I just wouldn't suggest eating it on its own with nothing else on the plate. It will be overwhelming.

It's not for everyone though. My partner doesn't like it. I think it's an acquired taste.

I dunno, I never prepared it but some Friends have donné me it and I've tried it at restaraunts

To be honest its not my thing but I believe kimchi is "pickled" and I'm known for not liking pickled things.

I had it with noodles, it was premade already so I've never cooked it before as all I had to do was heat it up in the microwave. It's not one of my favori foods. I found it to be a little spicy but it was alright.

I hadn't heard of it before - I did a quick Google chercher on it - in case I may have eaten it but not know what it was called. I don't think I have eaten it. If a friend of mine offered me some of his / her food, I would l’amour to try it - not sure if I would attempt to make it myself before tasting someone else's.

Yessssss it's amazing.

Personally I l’amour it par itself but it is an acquired taste - toi have to be down with spiciness and cabbage-ness lol.

Also really really l’amour it in scrambled eggs - just fry the kimchi par itself for about 2 - 3 mins and then add the beaten eggs. Tis a gift from the heavens :')

And like zeppie said, great with noodles and rice. 10/10 recommend kimchi fried rice.
