Few things are as predictable in Pokemon (excluding Brock chasing after girls) as the Team Rocket Motto. Our favori villains will always appear at least once per episode and recite their infamous devise (usually before getting blasted away par Pikachu ou another Pokemon). toi know it's coming as soon as toi hear that famous theme musique signifying the "Prepare for trouble!" "And make it double!"

Team Rocket loves to pose and recite their bit of nonsense whenever possible, especially at inopportune times (like when they're attempting to sneak into a building). Meowth is skeptical of the motto's impact, but Jessie and James insist that it's necessary par saying things 'like their "fans" have to come to expect it'. Ironically enough, Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, and others will patiently sit through TR's lines most of the time. toi would think that after years of hearing essentially the same devise every day, they'd interrupt plus frequently. Also, guest characters will often exclaim "What was that all about?" as soon as the devise ends.

Not all Team Rocket mottos are the same. In many of the later episodes, Jessie and James begin their devise with something relevant to the situation. There are also some distinctly different variations on the familiar lines of the whole Team Rocket motto.

James:Our nourriture isn't bad, at least not the worst
Jessie:The Team Rocket Restaurant, blast in for a bite
James:We stay open all day, we stay open all night!

Jessie's Hair devise

Jessie:You insult my hair? Prepare for trouble!
James:It used to be there, but now it's stubble!
Jessie:To protect my head from humiliation!
James:Too bad her hair went on vacation!
Jessie:My gorgeous hair was my one true love!
James:They went together like hand in glove!

The mottos are annoying, but they sure are catchy!
