Why is P!nk so populaire in Australia?

I understand P!nk is the kind of singer who has worldwide popularity, but seems like it is exceptional in Australia although she is supposed to be American singer.
I even heard that she is plus populaire than Lady Gaga ou Taylor Swift.
What is the reason that make her so populaire in Australia?
I'm just curious..
