Drowning is a much faster death that being buried alive. For example, if you are in a coffin, you have about less than a half hour of air in there before you die. Drowning is scary, but quick.

I'm claustrophobic, so being bured alive would be horrific for me. I almost drowned once...I was at the beach and the undertoe was strong...and it wasn't as horrific as it might seem. Being buried alive would be a ghastly way to die.

I have REALLY bad asthma. I've stopped breathing many times and I do have to say thats the scariest trying to get air when you can't.

Drowning, you'll always have hope that you can escape by swimming or being found and resucitaed (is that spelled right?), Buried Alive, nobody can hear you and there's no way out. Of course, I'd rather just not die <_<

because you keep fighting when you're drowning. When you're buried alive there's not much you can do it. just accept it i guess.
