Philip Seymour Hoffman was taking a high-powered drug concoction, known as a speed ball, when he died, according to the New York medical examiner’s office.
The deadly drug combination involves mixing heroin with cocaine ou amphetamines. Hoffman was doing all three.
Benzodiazepine, also known par the rue names Benzo ou BZD, was also found in his system. The drug can be mildly hallucinatory and is usually used as a sleep aid.
The Academy Award winning actor was found dead Feb. 2 in the bathroom of his New York City Apartment with a syringe still sticking in his arm.
