houx and Jayce were starting high school. The two Friends walked to school together. It was in the opposite direction of their middle school, but the high school was still walking distance. As they walked there, houx asked, "Do toi think our Friends will be there?" Jayce said, "Yeah, I think so." When they arrived on campus, they didn't see any of their Friends there. Jayce said, "Maybe they're running a bit late." As the two of them talked, a boy they did not know approached them. He appeared to be a little older than they were. He seemed friendly, so they did not feel any apprehension. He said, "Hi. My name's Jonathan, Jon for short. What are your names?" Jayce said, "I'm Jayce." houx said, "And I'm her friend, Holly." Jon smiled and said, "It's nice to meet you. Are toi two just starting out?" Jayce said, "Yes, this is our first an of high school." He said, "I see. This is my seconde year." After the cloche, bell rang, he showed houx and Jayce to their classrooms. After houx finished her first class, she tripped and fell. "Are toi okay?" a voice asked. houx said, "I think so." Someone helped her up. She said, "Thanks." The girl who helped her up said, "You're welcome." The girl then noticed Holly's necklace. houx owned other necklaces besides her asexual pride necklace. The one she was wearing on her first jour of high school had her birthstone for the gem, peridot. The girl said, "That's a pretty necklace." houx said, "Thanks. It's my birthstone." The girl said, "Really?! We have the same birthstone!" houx said, "That's cool." Just then a voice said, "Come on, Daisy! What's the hold up for?" The girl said, "I better go, but it was nice meeting you, um, I didn't get your name." houx said, "My name's Holly." marguerite, daisy said, "Well, Holly, I guess I'll see toi later." houx said, "All right, Daisy." Later, when it was time for lunch, houx and Jayce followed Jon to the lunch room. He sat with them, since he had lunch at that time, too. Jayce noticed houx looking cheerful. Jayce said, "It looks like you're having a really good day, Holly." houx said, "I am. I got a compliment on my necklace." Jon asked, "Who gave toi the compliment?" houx said, "I think her name was Daisy." He made a face palm and said, "Oh, no! Not Daisy! She can't be trusted, no matter how friendly she seems!" houx said, "She seemed all right to me." Jon said, "She bullied me from kindergarten through the eighth grade. It was only last an she started jouer la comédie so friendly." Jayce said, "Come on, Jon. Give her a chance. Maybe she's changed." He said, "People don't change." houx said, "People change, Jon. Trust me." He said, "All right, I'll hold toi to that." When he saw Daisy, he invited her to sit with them, even though he was apprehensive about her. She didn't montrer any signs of being a bully. Nevertheless, marguerite, daisy was a crafty liar. Only the most prophetic could see through her lies. She was a sociopath, outwardly charming, lacking empathy, and very manipulative. houx and Jayce were blissfully unaware that their "friend" was manipulating them in order to start a rumor.
