i think it dont have to be, cause the show is more different now then it was when they was in high school. and a high school show, and an adult show isn't the same if you know what i meen ;)

but it's not just like that in season 6, season5 is just like it ;)

personally i like that they don't do it anymore...season 5 was the same way...personally when the show starts i wanna watch it...i always got impatient waiting for the theme song to be over...i was quite happy they continued season 6 without it just like season 5

i miss it, but it takes away screen time

I miss the opening credits & theme song but think of it this way. Without the opening credits it would mean MORE screen time. ;)

I loved it. I want the Gavin Degraw song back!!! I miss it!

I miss it - the opening credits sums up what OTH is all about. But, as someone already said it takes screen time, so in that perspective I'm glad it's gone.
