B/C to me they're just two selfish cheaters! A cheesy and completely unrealistic "love story" which is nothing but CRAP! I mean...LOL! I hate epic stories. I hate the "Pucas soulmate" thing and i generally hate everything that has to do with them. NOT TO MENTION the "chemistry thing"! MUAHAHA! Chad and Hil have just 0 chemistry! I just hate them...i can't help it.

i dont hate leyton i never have i jus choose to prefer brucas i thin they have better chemistry and are a more likalblt couple like mary said leyton are very selfish and i dont like the fact they hurt other people to get what they want

nowadays i find leyton annoying ... but sort of eye-twitching annoying rather than throw-stuff-at-tv-and-have-tantrum-annoyin­g ... if that makes any sense?!
i used to LOVE them. i can't erase that, so i will always understand where leytoners are coming from and i will always have soft spot for them even if gets smaller and smaller over time.
i also know where brucasers are coming from. i know why they dislike them. that's because it's the same reasons that took me from loving them to shipping brucas and being annoyed by them. it's basically like this:
they're REALLY REALLY cheesy. they feel forced. they've no chemistry - lucas' words sound hollow and like he doesn't mean and peyton looks like she's acting - which obviously hilarie is but peyton shouldn't be.

i actuall agree with sophialover i think their romance is soo false and unrealistic i mean how long is this honeymoon period thing going to last.i just hate them i never have never will.the way i see it i think peyton only cared about lucas when she didnt have jake or pete or watever and as soon as she had someone els eshe didnt really care or bother brucas like in season 3 she had pete and didnt say anything to luke or brooke like she didnt care and as soon as she went she tried to wreck brucasAGAIN!!!!!!

No offense,but Peyton is a backstabbing,boyfriend stealing bitch who doesn't deserve Lucas.I'm a major Brucas fan!And I still have faith and hope in them!I still believe that somehow Brucas will be endgame and that Leyton will dissapear/vanish into thin air.BL FOREVER! =) Also,I agree with sophialover,jennifer_02,mehrajanwar, and everybody else who chose "don't like them because.....comment" or "not only for going behind Brooke's back, they don't even have chemistry together" as their choice.

Expounding: For example, Brucas gives me butterflies in my stomach when I watch them, and Leyton doesn't. It's like Leyton can't penetrate my walls, and Brucas easily tore it down. I don't dislike them for their mistake, maybe a lil bit but it's not about that, Leyton just doesn't give me the same feeling as Brucas does.

like is not a word i was use to decribe how i feel about them....i just can't stand them together. with brucas you can see that there differnet but it works for them. tehy have this spark that leyton don't have....leyton is like the same and thats BORNING AS HELL

i tried in the start of season 1 cause you knew that peyton was going to be in lucas' storyline early in the season...but if found them dull and borning...i mean there both dull and sad charcters than and to put them together made it more dull.....than brooke came along and she gave these charcters and the show cheerynes and fun(which is what it needed) and that why i love brooke....and thats why i loved it when brucas(which i never saw coming) got together and i thought that peyton was a good friend back than and then the did what they did to brooke(killed her i like to say or scared her for life) and now when i think about leyton or peyton thats what i think about cuase brooke my fav charcter....(maybe i picked the wrong choice...oh well u all get it)

I dont like Leyton because to me the basis of their relationship is cheating. And the fact that they have absolutely no chemistry just adds to it. They are the two of the most boring characters on the show and they do NOT go together. I just hate that they are torured, dark, depressing, and always in denial. I hate that they can never get together with out hurting anyone. They never get together when both Lucas and Peyton are single. Peyton only develops feelings for Lucas when he's happy in a relatioship. I absolutely hate that they are supposed to be the "epic" couple when they're no way near it. Even though I didnt like them in S1 many fans did and I can understand that, but after S1 when Brucas happened again and we all saw their amazing build up leading to even more amazing reunion how do you still like Leyton?
Leyton is forced, fake, and bring out the worst in each other. You cant help but hate them. They're a hideous couple.

It's that simple. I mean, they just DONT WORK.
I've tried on numerous occassions to accept them, and some turned out successful but after only a little while the flame dies out and I just don't like them anymore. It just doesn't work for me. I guess that's simply opinion, there isn't really anything WRONG with them, but I just can't like them. In season 5 they were all angsty and I loved them but, like I said earlier, the flame eventually goes out. They don't work. Unlike brucas, which I never get tired of<33

^^um, are you forgetting that Chophia were separated during season 3? And are you forgetting that Mark's planned leyton's reunion since season 1??? There's footage from 2003 where Mark shows the 409 script already written. Nuff said. The seeds were planted since season 1. Mark said it since the pilot. But believe what you want.

i don't dislike leyton because they hurt brooke in the first season. that made me dislike peyton's character and lucas's character...but not them as a couple. and i also don't think what they did for 2 or 3 episodes in first season is a reason enough for me to dislike them. so the beginning to their relationship was really messed up and hurt a lot of people...but the show has gone on way beyond those 2 or 3 episodes.
i honestly just don't see it with lucas and peyton. i think their scenes are SOOOO dull! at the beginning of the first season- especially thinking of life in a glasshouse- lucas and peyton would look at each other and even i could feel the attraction. but after that episode...it was just lost. i would watch and watch and wonder where it went. and then he started dating brooke and suddenly i remembered what it was like for two characters to have chemistry again. i don't dislike leyton because i like brucas...but seeing brucas on screen reminded me of what a couple in love should look like (but i mostly love 2nd and 3rd season brucas...not as much first season brucas). it's strange b/c i have seen chad michael murray and hilarie burton be so playful and fun in interviews- and i just wonder why they can't bring that to the show? i feel like once the director says "action"- they freeze up and read their lines as if they were reciting them to a brick wall. i honestly think the most passion they have is when they are not in scenes with each other, but are just talking about one another. for example- peyton was pretty passionate about lucas in season 5--- but it was always when she was talking to brooke about him....i never see that passion when she's actually with lucas. i think they are with each other because it's a safe relationship. lucas knows that peyton isn't going to leave him...and what is more comforting than hearing someone tell you they will always love you? but safe isn't passionate. it's not heart wrenching, soul mate, can't live without each other love. it's boring in my opinion.
but mostly...their scenes just feel SOOO forced. i also don't like what the leyton relationship does to peyton. she seems like when she has feelings for lucas but she's not with him...she just falls apart and gets depressed (middle of season 1, first half of season 4, all of season 5). maybe depressed is too powerful of a word...but she certainly gets "down" a lot. of course it's normal to feel blue when the guy you have feelings for is not reciprocating those feelings...but she falls apart. peyton was so strong at the beginning of the first season- and it seems like when lucas says he loves her- she gets so happy and is good, and then the second they arent together she falls down and falls apart. as a female viewer- it breaks my heart to watch someone so dependent on a guy for self esteem. and fifth season it felt like the only storyline peyton really had was "wanting lucas"....brooke, haley, nathan, and lucas all had love stories going on and at the same time had other storylines as well. peyton i guess had a storyline with mia, but it wasn't so substantial.

basically- i yawn when i see them on screen, they make me question the concept of a soul mate on television if that's supposed to be "true love among soul mates", peyton is way too dependent on lucas, they lack passion sparks cuteness sexiness and any sort of connection in their love scenes...and they make love seem like it's either really depressing or just light hearted fluffy times with your lover....they don't portray it as it is- absolutely incredible and something that makes it difficult for you to even catch your breath when your with the person you love....it's not just cookie dough fights and jumping on the bed when things are good--- its passionate!!

You just dont see them as a couple they dont fit Perfectly Like Brucas did, They had chemistry,Love & The best Sex Life! Leyton are like some couple in thair mid 40s looool =)BORINGGG!

i dont dislike leyton cuz of wat they did to brooke, but you can add that to the list of why i dont like them lol, but this just puts it perfectly, they just dont work together. brilliant idea putting the two most brooding melodramatic yet at the same time completley boring characters together! (total sarcasm) lol. LP have no chemistry and all their moments are just soo corny or cheesy or unbearable. plus i think their whole "soulmate" thing is way to overrated, i just find LP to be a bad cliche. in s1 they were okay, but then the whole cheating thing happened and i was like oh well okay. but things changed they moved on i was all good, but everything played out again and cheating just kept appearing, it wasnt the fact that they cheated that bothered me, it was the fact that their relationship is very selfish and random. i guess u can blame the writers for not playing their story out better, but LP just has an inferior love story. both the characters are unbearable when together. i actually tend to LOVE peyton when not with lucas, or pining on lucas. plus there is also the fact that i belive that Peyton is meant to be with Jake and Lucas with Brooke. but idk, LP just doesnt work for me.
