brooke and then haley i think

brooke was selfish,haley and lucas..i think

i have to agree brooke is a bit of selfish but i think she's the most selfless character in oth at the same time!

brooke or nathan dont think haley i mean she did go on tour and leave nathan but how she is def selfless

I think Peyton is the most selfless, she did everything she could to help Jake and Jenny, even though it hurt her a lot. Also she was willing to hide her true feelings for Lucas in season 4 just to make him happy by helping him try to get back with Brooke.

Haley then Brooke.
I hate how Haley did one selfish thing and now ppl think that she is so selfish. What about the reason she started tutoring Nathan? So that he would stop picking on her best friend, even though she hated Nathan.
Or in Season 3 when she was given the chance to go back on tour but she didn't b/c of her marriage.
OR what about haivng Jamie at 18 when alot of teens would have had an abortion or given him away?
Or when in S1 she was volunteering with the children's home (delelted scenes)?
Or when there was the school shooting and Jimmy pointed the gun at Nathan and Haley tried to shield him.
Or when Daunte tried to run down Nathan with his car, and Haley was pregnant and yet she still pushed Nathan out of the way and took the hit!
Haley did one selfish thing, when she was 17 and now she will always be thought of as selfish.
Haley is not a selfish person!

Sorry to rant but this is subject/argument always gets me upset.

They are all pretty selfless actually.....

Yeah they are! But I think Nathan is pretty selfish in S5 and Lucas in S1! But the others are great! I mean Peyton is trying to be a good friend to Brooke in S4 by not telling Luke how she feels and Brooke is so great in season 5. With Jenny and a good friend to Peyton to!

She helped Jake even though she knew she'd lose him!
In S4..She didn't say ANYTHING about her feelings for Lucas (she did only when BL were OFFICIALLY over)and she even helped him to get back together with Brooke!
In S5..She went to Lucas's wedding and she did NOTHING even If everybody knew she was insanely in love with him!
She always helps when she can..but everybody is selfelss I think!

Brooke then Haley!

S1 - After the slip up in the motel, she tried to walk away; then she eventually gave up lucas for Brooke cause she knew it would hurt her.

S2 - Wrote "dyke" on her t-shirt to take the heat off Anna and put in on herself

S3 - Told Brooke the truth about her feelings for luke but did not try and go after luke even after brucas broke up in 401. Helped Luke try and get brooke back by telling him about breyton's favorite store to go 2 on her bday.

S4 - Helped Luke through the Karen/baby thing when things got grim.

S5 - Despite her heartache with Luke, she managed to counsel Mia and Haley about their music; Skillz about Jamie; Molly about Life; Tried to convince lindsey to get back together with Lucas cause in the end she just wanted him to be happy; helped Brooke with mom troubles...kicked nathan's butt about being self piteous...I mean despite her mistakes that season, the girl was more amaaaazing than ever and I think a lot of ppl missed that.

Season 6 - Supporting Luke with his book (doesn't haggle him about being gone all the time).

Brooke has been incredibly selfless lately (season 5/6) too, but I wouldn't say it's been throughout the seasons, so that's why I didn't pick her. Luke is very selfless as well with all the good deeds he's done, but he can also be veeery selFISH. Hales has also been quite selfless. Nate was quite selfless in s4, but had a lot of selfish tendencies in the series overall.

^^I agree Nate is soo freakin SELFLESS!! The only time he was ever selfish was in like the first 7 eppys! and I have to disagree Peyton is very selfish

mehrajanwar, I never flat out said nathan is selfish. I said he's had a lot of selfish tendencies over the seasons. it was a lot more than just some of season 1. I won't go there about peyton cause that's a whole other debate and I'm not in the mood. we'll just agree to disagree ;)

^ i agree with what abs said. I mean if you love someone, you tell them how to you feel but Peyton kept it in for so long just so Brooke can be happy with Lucas.

so in season 1 when peyton went after lucas behind brooke's back, peyton wasn't selfish then?

Okay I'm not trying to start a fight but there's always two sides to a story. Like you didn't see or gave greater attention to Peyton walking away from Lucas and Abs thought cheating was wrong but she did walk away from him and that's what's more important. Oh don't get me wrong I'm not an LPer. :D

it's gotta be brooke..the most selfless thing she done was give up lucas so that peyton could be happy...it was so heartbreaking for her but she wanted peyton to be happy.
