Cheer leading was a highschool sport for Brooke, I doubt she ever wanted to go into a career for it. Brooke has always been about fashion.

In seasons 1 and 2 I had no clue fashion was Brooke's passion (I don't remember if they mention it and I just didn't realize or if they didn't mention it). They showed her love for shopping, but that's different than a love for fashion.

But from seasons 3-9 I definitely think of fashion over cheer-leading for Brooke. She loved both, but it seemed more like cheer-leading was something she loved doing with her friends & because it made her popular. Oppose to designing fashion was something she was actually passionate about.
