Former One arbre colline actress Hilarie Burton, who played lead character Peyton Sawyer for six years, is doing many different projects that have far-reaching implications beyond the home-base of her Wilmington, N.C. production company Southern gothique Productions.
In three weeks, Southern gothique Productions, under Hilarie, will be launching the first episode of it's web series Friendship Union Community Theatre. The first episode will be available on the company's website www.sogopro.com and was funded par the T-shirt sale campaign the company held in April.
They plan to unveil the webseries and are in talks to secure advertising dollars for the webseries who will fund future episodes.
Southern gothique Productions has been very open and honest with their fan-base about what they are doing and their progress. fans can find almost daily mises à jour on their website and in the last month, the company has started a podcast. Robert Buckley, who famously played Kim Raver's Lipstick Jungle boy toy and subsequently did a turn on Privileged, will resurface this fall on the CW's One arbre Hill.
Buckley will play Clayton, the sports agent who takes on NBA-bound Nathan as a client and friend, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Brian Austin Green was until recently eyed for this series regular role, but ultimately a deal could not be worked out.

A récent Peyton storyline will completely rock the Peyton we’ve known for years into a darker Peyton. She’ll do incredibly unexpected and inappropriate things to the people around her. Not Brooke beat up Scary, but Jenny Humphrey rebel scary.
