X Factor boy band member Liam Payne has been suffering family heartbreak after his sister’s boyfriend died following a fight with a close friend.
The One Direction singer, 17, expressed gratitude for fans messages regarding the incident through his Twitter page.
He said: ‘Thanks to everyone for their support at this time, my thoughts and prayers are with the two families involved.’

Craig Glaze, who was in a relationship with Liam’s Sister Nicola, died after he received a blow to the head.
It has been alleged par the Mirror newspaper that he suffered the blow following a confrontation with close friend Martin Gannon.
Martin, 24, is set to appear in court in March after being charged with manslaughter on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old victim, who served as a solider with the Army in Iraq died from a single blow to the head a post-mortem revealed.
It is alleged that he was confronted par his best friend, after Martin discovered he was dating Miss Payne.
Martin was reported to an ex-lover of the Liam’s sister Nicola, according to reports par The Mirror.
Craig and Martin lived suivant door to each other in Wolverhampton and are a dit to have known each other from the age of five.
Both the men and Nicola, 22, had been to support 17-year-old Liam during his live X Factor performances in November and December.
A source close to Liam told The Mirror: ‘This is a real tragedy and has really upset Liam and his family.
‘The pair were both Friends of the Payne family and it has left them all devastated that one of them has been killed and the other arrested.
‘Liam was Friends with both and for one of them to die like this is just heartbreaking. To see
"Needless to say Nicola is in pieces. She has Lost her boyfriend - and her ex, who she still cared about, has been arrested.
"This an was supposed to be the best of Liam's life when the band made it to super-stardom but this was the worst possible start to the New Year."
Fitness instructor Martin appeared before Wolverhampton magistrates on Wednesday and was bailed on condition he does not contact a liste of people, including Nicola, and that he stays away from Wolverhampton except to see his solicitor.
