I woke up suivant to Alex,My mom had made me share the lit with him.I rose out of lit and went to the bathroom then looked in the mirror.In the mirror I could see him sleeping,It reminded me,how I was a father.The only probelm was he wasn't mine.
My girls were probably out somewhere with theyre mother.I went to the lit and grabbed my phone,and sat on the bed.I thought about calling them to see how they were,But If I had they probably just yell at me for not answering.I threw down phone on the ground.Then it rang,I stared at it till it stopped,They left a voice mail.Ronnie answered the phone.
"Hey dad,Um I called to tell toi happy fathers day.I l’amour you,I wish you'd come back home.I wanna know why did toi leave?"She a dit helplessly.
In the background I heard someone crying,Tgen I heard something break."Mom,No!!!"She yelled."You can't,Mom!Quit trying that!!"She was crying.Anna pick up the phone.
"Mommy"Screamed kenna.
"I'm sorry,Come back.."she sobbed.
The voice mail ended there.I didn't dare call them,I put down my phone.
"What's wrong,Dude?"mumbled Alex as he sat up.
"Nothin,I made some mistakes."
"Its about your family,Isn't it?"
"Yea,It's fathers jour and I'm not with my girls."
"Well,Your not alone.My dad died when I was 8 of a cœur, coeur attack.My mom tried to sell me when I was 2.So I have no parents."
"I'm sorry that had to happen."I said.
"It's okay,I'll tell toi something.Sometimes in life,Your going to alone,Broken down,and defeated with fear of it all,But toi have to decide who's worth your tears,Apperently my mom wasn't.So toi just have to pick up your baggage and déplacer on."
"How do toi know so much about life?"I asked.
"Well,Heart break brings wisdom.It just so happens my cœur, coeur has been broken to many times."
"I'm sorry that had to happen."
"Dont be.."He began to stare at me."What's happening to you?"
I looked down at my body,my feet started to dissapear.
"Um,Don't freak out..Ill tell toi later...Its.."I closed my eyes.
Once I opened them,I was in an a dark alley,sitting suivant to some trash cans.There were a few rue lights,the one nearest to ms flickered and struggled to stay on.I was still in my pajamas,A white t-shirt and gray sweat pants.I couldn't tell were I was excactly,But par the looks of old vandalized walls and the hot smoky air,I knew I didn't want to be there.In the dimness,I heard someone scream.
"Dad!!"I heard a voice,It sounded like it came from the end of the ally.I sat,and didn't dare to move,I heard two gunshots,and a little boys cry.I then seen the little boy,He ran past me.
With out thought,I reached out quickly and picked him up,To save a life.In a hurry I ran as fast as I could.Bullets ricocheting off the walls,Coming close to hitting me.His tears dampened,my chemise as he cried in my arms.
Thats when I tripped,The little boy look at me with his sad brown eyes.
"Live a good life."I told him.
He nodded then ran off.I layed in the dirt,my shoulder hurt,I had landed on it.I could have gotten back up,But for some reason I didn't,I had gave up.A man stood over me,Pointing a gun at me,Threating to kill me,That was the thing.I didn't care,I was just Lost in this world and wanted to die,Death,I welcomed as an old enime,That I then forgave and was ready to be taken.
"Are toi afraid?"The man chuckled darkly.
"No,Just do it already.Im ready,Your the answer to my prayers...I'm ready to die."I told him.
I looked at him,He in a mask,and a black hoodie.The only thing I could see is his sharp eyes.Boldly I stood up to my feet,He aiming the gun at my head.I pressed it against the center of my forehead.
"Do it."I a dit as I stared in to his eyes.
His eyes,sharp and vien,But at the same time,Human.Glaring into his eyes was like looking into his soul and seeing his life on replay.Over and over,I could see happiness shadowed par pain,Laughter with gunshots.He slowly lowered the gun,And didn't dare look me in the eyes once more,I could see guilt from wanting vengeance.
"Your afraid?Arent you?"I laughed sickly.
"Forgive me.."He said.
"Fuck forgiveness.Now just pull that trigger."
Suddenly I heard him yelled then he fell to the ground.
I looked over to see that little rascal standing with a bat in his hand,The little boy had hit him in the leg.
"Did ya miss me?"He giggled.
I picked him up and ran away into the street.
He began to become really heavy,I looked down to find that my legs started to dissapear again.
I put him down and he asked,"Are toi an angel?"
"Something like that,But even anges aren't perfect."
Half my body was gone.
"Live a good life."He told me.
I smiled as the last bit of me vanished,I opened my eyes.
Once again I was in my fathers office,the record player playing'What makes toi beautiful.'I looked in the mirror to see gray hair.I looked as if I were older,I went to the bathroom and used my moms root touch up,As an attempt to dye it back.
My mom walked in then instantly started to laugh.
"Don't toi know it's kind of gay if guys dye there hair!?!?Pahaha!"she laughed.
"It's not funny."
"Ok old man!"She giggled.
"But your older then me,"
"Yea but I'm wiser then you,Because toi still have the mind of a ten an old.Your almost 40 and toi still read comics!!"She laughed.
"I thought it was..."Alex had walked in then stared at me with his brown eyes.
"Your the guy.."He said.

We sat together at the table, tableau and I explained what had happened.And told every detail besides the fact I wanted him to kill me,If my mom had found out,She'd freak out.
"Look,Zayn I don't have time for your little pranks,Althrough I think it's nice that you've bonded with Alex."
"I'm not lying through."
"What are you,12?Grow up some,I have stuff to do today,Like shopping with your sisters since toi didn't."
"Mom,I told you..."
"Oh my gosh,What do toi want??"
"Try it."
"He's not lying."said Alex.
"Fine,But toi have to explain to your sisters why ill be late."she stood up and went to the office,We followed.
She then put one record on,'moments' began to play.Nothing happened.
"Ohhh I'm time traveling."She a dit sarcasticlly."Now call Waliyha,and tell her I'm going to be late,Be gentle,it's he time of the month."She a dit as she walked out the door.
"You believe me right?"
"Well,Yea,You rewrote the past."
"Why did toi lie about your dad?"
"It's hard to talk about."
"How long il y a was that?"
"7 years and 26 days,I really miss him."
"I know,I miss my dad to,He died when I was young."
"It gets better right?"
"I hope so."I told him.
I still thought about my dad,It seemed to get better but really never did.There was no such thing as happy endings for me,If there was,I had found it.
