Zayn’s POV
I was eating my fries and talking with the lad’s, when I noticed Liam and Julli talking. I noticed that her eye’s wear tearing up. I got up and went to check on her to see if she was alright when I saw her. I froze in my track’s and examined her beauty. She was sitting with her knees close to her chest. In her hand’s was a book. I couldn’t tell which book, she was wearing grey skinny jeans, with the cuff’s rolled up. A white tank top, with layers of dentelle on it, a navy blue cardigan, and navy blue tom’s. Her hair was jet black and wavy. She had her bang’s hanging out of the grey benie she was wearing. She was wearing nerdy glasses. Her lip’s looked so red. I realized I was still holding my fries and decided to sit with her. When I sat down, she pulled the book away from her face, and that’s when I got a good look at her face. She had little freckles and hazel eye’s that reminded me of liquid gold. Her lip’s didn’t shine, so I figured that she wore lip balm. She flashed me a smile and I felt my cœur, coeur flutter.
“Hi, im Joslyn.” she said. I noticed that I had been starring and blushed. I had never done that before. I looked at my fries and then back at her.
“ Im Zayn, what book is that?” I asked her.
“Bridge to terabithea , It’s my all time fave” she a dit montrer me the cover.
“I’ve only seen the movie” I a dit smiling back. She giggled and looked back down at her book, before popping a fry in her mouth. I laughed a bit when she chewed, it looked so cute. I threw a fry and the air and ate it.
“nice, bet I can go higher” she a dit raising her eyebrow’s.
“or really? Then it’s a chalenge! Winner leaves with my autograph,” I a dit flashing her another smile. Smiling around her felt so normal. She contemplated what I had a dit for a bit in her head.
“mmmmm… no. Winner has to eat an ice cream cone in no plus than….. Mmm.. 2 bites!” she said.
“ deal, get ready to have a massive brain freeze!” I a dit as we began our chalenge.
Liam’s POV
I had noticed lines going across her thigh’s. I knew immediately what they were from. I took a siège across from Julli, and looked into her eye’s. They were a dull grey, and were missing the hint’s of green that I loved. I didn’t like her like that, I had Danielle any way’s. I cared about her plus like a younger sister. She took a deep breath and began to explain.
Julli’s POV
I took a deep breath, and began.
“ umm.. Well, I guessed toi noticed the cut’s huh?” I asked. Avoiding his eye’s.
“ Julli, why are toi cutting yourself?” he a dit taking my hands in his. They were warm and soft.
“ Well, im about to tell toi basically my whole life story. Please don’t say anything ou ask anything until im done ok?” I asked him looking him in the eye’s. He nodded and I began.
“ Well, I live in a foster home. I’ve been in foster care ever since I was 5. When I was 12, my family got into an accident. I was at Adi’s house when it happened so nothing happened to me. They were reared my a semi and the car flipped. My 4 an old sister died on impact. My Mom, Dad and brother, died on the way to the hospital. I stayed with CPS that night and then put in foster care. par the age of 15 I had already been placed in like 7 different houses, but none that wanted to keep me. Then a few week’s after my 15th birthday, Bill and Marla took me in. Everything was ok, until like the 3rd week. That was when they began to hit me. At first it was because I would forget to do something but, then, it was just because they wanted to. Now, I get beaten almost everyday, for nothing. I guess not for nothing, because they leave me money and all. But the bad thing is, depending on how much they leave me , basically give an idea about how bad ill get it when they’re home. I started cutting myself, after I turned 16. They began to tell me, I was useless, worth nothing and ugly. I have been cutting since. I also, went through the whole anorexic stage. I have had a hard life, and don’t tell anyone anything. But that’s why I l’amour Adi, she has stuck par me through it all. I still get nightmares at night she is the only one that I’ve told. I thought that I could never trust anyone, but with toi it’s different. toi remind me of my brother, and I think that is why I was ready to tell you, because I trust you. Please don’t tell the boy’s, not yet. And please don’t think of me any different.” I waited for his response. I had tears rolling steadily down my face. He was avoiding my eyes and he got up.
“Liam please don’t le-” he cut me off and pulled me into a tight hug.
“ Im so sorry that this had to happen, im so glad that toi confided inme to tell me your secret. I wont tell anyone toi don’t want me to.” he pulled away and wiped away some of my tears.
“thanks Liam. Can I ask toi something?”
“what is it love?” he looked me in the eyes.
“ can I call toi bro-be? ou lili? I used to give my brother nicknames, and I wanted to give toi some…” I gave him my best chiot dog eyes.
“ sure love” He a dit as we began to walk back to the booth.
