One Direction Question

Why is One Direction so popular? :)

I just wanna know. :) No offense intended at all, I'm not saying they shouldn't be popular. (I mean, I think that, but yeah.) Some of them are really good singers, and when toi put their voices together they sound good. But they're REALLY big/popular/whatever, and I'm just wondering... Why? My friend says it because most boybands start out differently then them. It's like one question (that ticked me off. ;D) a dit about Taylor Swift. "Why is Taylor rapide, swift so popular?" So yeah, this question is like that one, I just don't get it. Again, just wonderin'. :) Thanks!

I can't answer it too. It's difficult to explain. Perhaps it's because they're handsome, they sing well and they almost won x- factor.
