anyone noticed how august wasnt in yesterday's episode?

Yes there were apparently scenes filmed with August in them, but they were either cut due to time constraints, ou ended up not working with the flow of the story in the episode. I'm glad he wasn't the hero of the story. It was better that Emma and Mary Margaret took care of Jefferson together. It helped their bond.

They cut scenes like that all the time. For example Archie was suppose to be in 1x12 with David hanging at the bar the girls were at, but that didn't wind up airing. Like the person a dit above, sometimes it's timing other time it didn't work with the story.

I much prefer it this way. I like seeing the girls take care of themselves, it made no sense for August to have shown up, especially since no one knew they were there. (Plus I'm still not to fond of his character)
