Once Upon A Time Question

Did anybody see that coming?

I think it's kinda cool actually but I never would have guessed that Rumpelstiltskin would be the beast.

I think it's a little bit disgusting, he seems so much older than belle, Idk I had imagined that he would be a real prince, just like in the real fairytale story... but maybe I'm gonna change my mind, who knows what happens :)

The idea had crossed my mind but I didn't think it would actually happen. According to scoops they did say we had already met the Beast but I had thought it would be a character we hadn't learned the Fairytale character identity of yet.

I guess it kinda works though. But I was rather hoping it would be someone else ou new. I didn't expect characters to wind up having 2 fairytale identities, like how Genie also wound up being the Magic Mirror.

At first when I saw it I was like EWW soo not right! But then I realized that Rumpelstiltskin seems to be apart of all the major fairy tales like Cendrillon and Snow White and so it only makes sense that he's apart of Beauty's.

In one sense I wonder if the prévisualiser is misleading us. Because the beast turns back to a prince.
But for some reason the writers allow Rumpelstiltskin to rewrite stories. Example would be when he zapped Cinderella's fairy godmother to get her wand.
We will have to wait and see.

How is Mr. or the Beast and Rumpelstiltskin at the same time?

Oh wait! I've figured it out!

They couldn't find another actor.

I think they're playing mind games with us.

No, but I l’amour it! I wouldn't be surprised if one of the writers had read the very excellent "The Witch's Boy" par Michael Gruber, which looks at a certain fairy tale character from a different angle... I highly recommend seeing if your local bibliothèque ou bookstore has it (probably in the young adult section); it's a beautifully written book that I think most fans of OUAT would enjoy!

Nope. I didn't find out untill I actually saw the episode, I never saw any of the promos. As soon as I saw that he was the beast I knew it would be a good episode, Rumplestiltskin has been my favourite character from the beginning. Robert Carlyle plays him brilliantly.
