I always have subs on anyway. I've tried dubs, because I like multitasking and using the TV as background noise, but it's still off-putting. Which is why I rarely watch foreign thangs. My attention span will not stand for it. =P

I prefer to watch in the original language with subtitles, but sometimes I don't have time to actually sit down and read while I watch, so if the show is not in French or English, I'll just watch the French dubbed version in the end.

I watch a lot of Korean shows. Always with subs. Sub or dub I know just enough Korean words to cringe at some of the translations.
