Naruto Shippuuden Question

kishimoto seems to be set on making Naruto stronger with first sage mode and then not long after that the taming ou controlling of of the kyoubi chakra. if he'd learn the "8 inner gates" jutsu he'd have godlike strength, lol. what do toi guy's think?
