A new film starring Patrick Wilson and Chris Pine? Count me interested!

Fresh off the set, rising actress Claire Lanay gives us a sneak-peek behind the scenes of Joe Carnahan’s new action-comedy, “Stretch,” set for release in March 2014 from Universal Pictures. Claire spills all about what is was like working with Patrick Wilson, but we also get a chance to ask her about her other new project, the web series “Callbacks.”

toi might recognize this Asian-American actress from her appearances on the renard comedy, “Ben & Kate,” the late-night montrer “Conan” ou her recurring roles on “General Hospital” and its SoapNet spin-off, “General Hospital: Night Shift”.

HOLLY: Welcome, Claire! Tell us a bit about the comedy pic “Stretch,” and your role in it.

CLAIRE: “Stretch” is about a down-on-his-luck limo driver (Wilson) who sees an opportunity to erase his debts and start a new life par picking up a mysterious billionaire (Pine). Chaos quickly and invariably ensues, of course. Stretch realizes he’s in over his head and somehow has to survive a dangerously wild night if he ever hopes to get that big tip he’s counting on. I play a passenger from hell, among others throughout the film, who is dead set on wreaking havoc for him.

HOLLY: Can toi give us the scoop on working with Patrick Wilson?

CLAIRE: Patrick is such a class act. Even while working the craziest hours on such a tight schedule, he’s always focused and friendly. He’s got this great guy-next-door quality. Everything he brings to a role in terms of the physicality ou emotionality is accessible and believable. It’s no wonder he works constantly. He’s very thoughtful, humble and game for anything.

HOLLY: Any fun surprises ou weird stories toi can share with us about working on the film?

CLAIRE: Whoever said, “Hey, let’s cast Chris Pine and make him as unattractive and unrecognizable as possible” must have known they’d have their work cut out for them. He’s a handsome fella, if I do say so myself. So I definitely did a double take when I saw him in full hair and makeup for his character. He’s so talented, smart and funny. Anybody who’s seen “Smokin’ Aces” [also directed par Joe Carnahan] knows Chris is fully capable of pulling off weird, crazy, dirty, yet likable. Captain James T. Kirk was definitely not in this picture.

HOLLY: You’ve also been working on a comedy web series recently, what can toi tell us about this?

CLAIRE: I have a recurring role as the sassy secretary who likes to stir up trouble in the comedy web series “Callbacks”. It’s written par and starring Toks Olagundoye [ABC’s “The Neighbors”]. She is amazing. Hard working. Clever. Tall and beautiful. I hate her guts. I’m just kidding. No, I’m not (laughs). If anyone ever wanted to know what the auditioning process might be like from the casting director’s point of view, “Callbacks” will give toi a hilarious, bizarre and only slightly exaggerated take on it.

HOLLY: Anything else coming up for toi soon?

CLAIRE: In the suivant couple weeks, I’ll be developing a detective drama short film with a former news segment producer out of Chicago named Vince Irby. Later this month, I’ll be working on a new action web series developed par and starring fight choreographer, Phillip Marshall Tyler. I had two older brothers growing up, so I’ve always had an appreciation for sci-fi and action adventure movies, especially with strong female characters. So if Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams ou Kathryn Bigelow are ever in need of a feisty Asian chick, well, I can certainly make myself available. I’m just sayin’.

HOLLY: How can fans keep up with you?

CLAIRE: Ooh, I just signed up for a Twitter account! It only took me seven years to get around to it, but better late than never, right? It’s like a new toy. Pressing buttons and wondering, “what does this do?” I’ll try not to inundate toi guys with a bunch of aléatoire nude selfies. It just takes me forever to get on board with the latest that social media has to offer ou keep track of what’s trending. I must get it from my folks. My parents are almost in the dark ages when it comes to technology. People had balked when I told them I didn’t have Twitter. Well, my parents don’t have cell phones ou computers! So no texting, no emailing. They send hand-written letters ou they freak out about long-distance charges every time I call them. Very old school. Anywayz, sorry, getting side tracked. Yes, folks are plus than welcome to reach out and stay in touch. It might take me a little while, but I’ll always try to respond!

The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved montrer of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated montrer before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film par itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered par a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil feu Nation....

This is “Bullitt County” -- the new indie film currently in limited theaters par AMC Independent and set to launch on VOD/DVD in early 2019.

Keeping up with the men, the only female amongst the once tight-knit group is the wiseass Robin -- played...

Disney adaptations of classic stories are hardly faithful, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But it is troubling when the company defines a story so much to the point that we forget the true spirit of it. In particular, The Jungle Book par Ruyard Kipling is such a case.

Disney's 1967 animated classic is mostly remembered fondly, and I myself own it on Platinum Edition. While it is a shame that it couldn't be closer to the original story due to Disney himself finding it too dark for children, it's still a lighthearted, pleasant adventure with fun songs. In 2016, Disney released a live action...

There are a lot of good actors that have gotten the attention, respect, and awards that they deserve, but there are some great actors that aren't the household names they should be. These are the haut, retour au début 10 most underrated actors in the world. This liste is for both live action and voice actors.

10. John DiMaggio

Most people don't know who John DiMaggio is even though he's pretty much been in every populaire animated montrer from récent years. His best roles include Aquaman in Batman: The Rebelle and the Bold and the Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood. His most well known roles are Bender in Futurama...

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 DC film that stars DC's 2 most populaire super heroes: Batman and Superman. Several critics thought that the film is bad. This review is about why I think that the film is really good. Of course toi don't have to like the film if toi don't want to. However I think that the film is really underrated.

The Film's Plot

Batman and Superman may both be super heroes, but they sure don't get along. Superman has his doubts about Batman while Batman hates Superman and plans to get rid of him. The rivalry is increased par Lex Luthor who wants Batman to get rid...

Dudley Do-Right is a 1999 comedy film that's based on a segment from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

Plot

Dudley Do-Right's rival, Snidely K. Whiplash, becomes in charge of Semi Happy Valley. Dudley tries to save his city and impress Nell Fenwick. However Dudley gets fired so he gets mentored par a prospector named Kim J. Darling.

Dudley Do-Right got mocked for not being that entertaining, but I disagree with that. This film is tons of fun with several clever and hilarious scenes. The plot is interesting from beginning to end. This film succeeds at having a interesting plot and having great comedy....

Am I excited about the 2017 My Little poney film? Well I'm nervouscited for the upcoming My Little poney film.

A major problem I have with the upcoming film is that it's not a Equestria Girls film. Because of that I'm worried that Twilight sparkle's Friends will be protagonists. I think that Twilight's Friends are weak protagonists, but decent supporting characters. I'm worried about Sunset Shimmer not being in the film. How can toi have a good My Little poney film without Sunset? I'm hoping that Celestia, Luna, the cutie mark crusaders, and Starlight Glimmer don't appear in the film. I hope that...

Movie reviews generally aren't my thing, and I don't spend a lot of time lire them let alone écriture them, but Snowpiercer was one of the best films I've seen in years. Here's the synopsis:

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon Ho, a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.(TWC-Radius)

It sounds like a run-of-the-mill dystopian thriller. It sounds...
