The first time my husband Akio saw Michael was at Yokohama Stadium in 1987. We traveled from our house in Tokyo to Yokohama and were going on to our villa in Hakone for the weekend. We were simply enthralled par his musique and incredible dancing.

Unlike today, there were no cell phones and the road conditions were bad, so it was very late when we arrived at the villa. On arrival we received a call from the house in Tokyo saying that Michael’s manager had been calling again and again because Michael was anxious to meet with Mr. Morita, so Akio hurriedly called his hotel.

When Richard Nixon died in 1994, The Times observed that he had "resuscitated his reputation and emerged as an elder statesman," but "he never got his freeway back."

The reference was to California 90, between the 405 Freeway and marina del Rey, which state lawmakers had named in his honor in 1971.

In 1976, with Nixon's image tarnished par Watergate, lawmakers quietly responded to the request of local Chamber of Commerce officials and took his name off the 2.5-mile roadway. The Nixon Freeway became the marina Freeway.

Joe Jackson is now revealing why he put a $500 million price tag on his wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray. His theory -- "The plus toi go, the less toi get ... so I went high."


During Joe's interview with GOOM Radio -- in which sported some severely oversized MJ bling -- he a dit Dr. Murray was just "the fall guy" ... and that a lot of other people were to blame for his son's death.

Michael Jackson's eldest two children want to buy back Neverland, the ranch the singer called home.

Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12, are a dit to want to turn the ranch into a shrine to their dad after having made a secret pilgrimage to the late singer's £50 million home.

Jackson, who died in June last year, was forced to sell the sprawling ranch after losing control of it to an investment company when the King of Pop fell into debt, according to the News of the World.
