About an heure and a half the doctor returned to tell michael he could go see his son and Diane he chose to see his son first. The Doctor led him and Alicia to the NICU. "Heres your son." the doctor a dit pointing to the far side of the room. Michael walked over, with alicia following behind. When they got to his son's bedside, they saw that the baby had small tubes sticking out all over his tiny little body. It was all to much for michael, he began to cry. Alicia put her hand on his shoulder, "Alicia.....can toi please leave me to myself for a little bit?" Michael sniffled. "Sure..hey toi need me ill be right outside in the hall." Alicia said. Michael nodded and Alicia headed out into the hallway leaving michael alone with his son.
About an heure later Michael went to go see Diane. When he walked into her room Diane was still sleeping and hadnt woken up yet. Michael walked over and sat in a chair suivant to the bed. Michael took her hand and held it. About 15 minutes later Diane began to wake up. "Hey...how are toi feeling?" Michael asked as he caressed her face. "I...Feel....Wheres the baby?....Please say i didnt lose it" Diane asked frighten as she looked down to see that her baby bump was gone. "Shh...Diane calm down the baby is fine...he's in NICU." Michael a dit calming her down, Diane eventually calmed down and fell back asleep. Michael sat at her bedside and watched her as she slept.
In the days followed, it was discovered that it was high stress that caused Diane to deliever early. Diane and Michael were advised par the doctor that they shouldnt have any plus children because it could put diane and unborn child in danger.
Diane has healed up enough to where she can get out of lit and déplacer around in a wheelchair. Finally shes able to go see her son
Michael wheels Diane down to the NICU for the first time to see there son. Diane happy to see him but is sad at the same time seeing the tubes and wires stuck to him. There wasnt as many on him like when michael saw him for the first time. "May i hold him?" Diane asked one of the nurses. "Of course." a nurse a dit as she gentley took Diane's baby from his lit and placed him in her arms. "Hi sweetie" Diane a dit sweetly as she rubbed his tiny head. Michael knelt down beside her to get a better look at his son. "You want to hold him?" Diane asked. Michael nodded and Diane handed him over. "He's so small." Michael a dit as he took his son into his arms. "What should we name him?" Diane asked. "How about Eli?" Michael sugguested. "I like that." Diane said. With that michael kissed his son on his forehead and then he kissed Diane on hers........................................
