Michael had once again arrived at his home. He put his pajamas back and went to bed. But he still couldn't sleep. He just couldn't get Ashley out of his thoughts. He just lay there in lit staring at the ceiling for an heure until finally, he remembered what Ashley told him at the park that morning. "It's her father's funeral today" he a dit to himself. "I'm going to come... oh I forgot. I got a concert today". Then he finally made a decision. He would annuler his concert to montrer his support for Ashley. He then laid on the lit and called the producers and staffs for his concert. "You're what!" the executive producer screamed on the phone. "I told you, I'm going to annuler my concert" Michael replied calmly. "For what reason? Don't toi know that your fans will be very disappointed?" the producer a dit furiously. "Well this is very important. But I can't tell toi right now. If the press asks you, tell them that it's very important. As for the fans, tell them that I'm very sorry and that I still will perform the concert very soon" Michael replied. "All right Mike. toi win" the producer replied as he hung up the phone. He was a bit disappointed but he was happy with his decision. He then started to doze off when the phone rang. "Hello?" Michael asked. "Michael it's me" the voice on the other line said. "Mother?" Michael asked. "Yes" Katherine replied. "What's wrong mother?" Michael asked worriedly. "Well sweetie, it seems like your brother Jermaine here is in l’amour with your girlfriend" Katherine replied. "What, girlfriend who?" Michael asked puzzled. "You know the girl toi were carrying last night?" Katherine replied. "Oh...oh toi mean Ashley? No she's not my girlfriend. She's just a friend of mine" Michael replied. "Oh alright then. Bye sweetheart. l’amour you" Katherine a dit with a laugh. "Ok mother bye. l’amour toi too" Michael replied. As he hung up the phone, he was very upset. He could not believe that his brother has also been in l’amour with the woman he was falling for. Now he could no longer sleep. He started to stare at the ceiling again. Lost in his thoughts...
