Joe didn't hated Michael!

He was his son. Everything that Joe did was trying to raise his children, to make them become sucessful and make sure they had a better life that he had, back then.

Of course, the way he did that was not the correct one, and caused lots of traumas in Michael... But that was the only way he knew.

I bet Joe is suffering so much as all the family. Michael was his son and he loved him.
He just chose the wrong way of doing things.

well i dont think he hated him i think that he was jealous of him because all the money that he had and was making with the touring and album sells that he had and everything that was going for him

i think because michael was the first one that had the guts to tell him that he wanted to go solo

He didn't allowed his children even to call him "dad". It's very sad..

A father who thinks to promote new musical stuff just few days after his son's death.. and he's smiling saying that he's doing good.. I really can't call him a father!! He didn't cared..

Sorry but this is my opinion..I was so disappointed then..

Maybe he wanted his kids to be better than he was.. maybe he though that way is the best to raise a child :( maybe he loved them in that strange way, in his way..
I do appreciate that he didn't used J5 only for him.. I mean Michael and his brothers had their own money when they grown up, when they began their solo career.

As a manager he did good things too for them, it's true.. and we can't deny it. But as a father too many wrong things.. too many :(

How could toi even think that? There's no way Joseph could hate one of his sons. Joseph might have been utterly hard on him, but hate, no!

From my opinion, I believe Joseph was only trying to push Michael to be all that he could be. I think Joseph knew Michael was going to get far, so he pushed him that rough and far. Also did so to make him stronger for life.

Joe didn't hate Michael I think he was jealous of his talent and success. He was jealous because his band couldn't make it anywhere but his 5 an old son has better talent than him and got signed and the sad thing is that Michael outshined the rest of his brothers and he was half there age
