Fangs POV
I was so tired, but I had to get Max to Dr. Martinez's house. I couldn't stop but all my muscles ached and I couldn't stand it anymore. I slowly landed in the middle of the desert somewhere. I found some big rocks and I layed Max down I a shelf in the rocks and i lit a little feu to signal where I had layed Max. Then I flew off in chercher of water. I found a little stream using my raptor vision. The moonlight alos shone down onto the river so I could see it that way too. I took out the empty water bottle and filled it up and flew back to Max.
I looked at her longing to hear her voice, to see those beautiful brown eyes. I took a few sips of water and then poured a little into Max's throat and made sure it went down. I took off my veste and wrapped it around Max. Even though I was cold I was only concered about her. At about 3 am , guessing, I heard movement. But it seemed close to me.
Max's POV
I felt something rubbing against my shoulders, it felt like Fang's jacket. I coughed a few times and opened my eyes. Where was I? It was freezing.
Fangs POV
I heard a cough and I spun around. It was Max!
I ran over to her side and I hugged her close to my body.
"Oh Max, I'm so so sorry." I whispered into her hair as I held her. Then I pulled her back and looked her in the eyes. I could tell she was in pain and she probably felt like sh*t but she was conciouss. She gave me a weak smile, trying to be tough like she always did, but the smile didn't mask the pain in her eyes.
"Max, I..." I started to say but my voice trailed off into the cold night air. Then I pulled her into me and kissed her. I felt her soft lips against mine and the smooth way she kissed me back. I tilted my head and we kissed.
Max's POV
My thoughts were all burry but I knew one thing for sure, Fang was s’embrasser me. Breath through your nose! I told myself and as Fang tilted his head I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. I don't know how long we kissed but it was for a long time. Then all of a sudden I broke away from Fang. I felt dizzy, sick. I quickly stood up and walked a few feet into the darkness. Then I collapsed into the sand, feeling weak and very sick. Things became blurry and my cœur, coeur rate dropped.
