aren't their three Lorelei Gilmores?? shouldn't toi put the seconde ou something?

I guess due to the fact that toi were "fooling around" that toi already know the answer to this question but here we go. There are three Lorelai Gilmore's in Gilmore Girls. Lorelai the first is Richard's mother but she is plus commonly and affectionately know as "Trix". Lorelai Victoria Gilmore is named after her ("Trix") and is the only one of the three Lorelai's to actually keep the name in it's whole without shortening it. The third Lorelai is Rory - her mum named her after herself in the hospital - and as such gave her the nickname of Rory as not to confuse themselves.
In response to toi question, yes there are three Lorelai's in the montrer however only one who keeps the name Lorelai (rather than "Trix" ou "Rory". In addition, she is the main character and people know who she is and therefore I believe that it would be inappropriate to name this site Lorelai the second.
