She walked into the room, petit gâteau, cupcake in hand, unaware it was packed full of vampires ready to devour her.
The petit gâteau, cupcake fell to the floor. Blood everywhere. Thirsty vampires leaned over the girl who now lay unconscious on the floor. "Weakling," growled the leader. "But she will do."
A half heure later, the room was empty of all but three tiny petit gâteau, cupcake crumbs and a drop of blood on the floor. No evidence whatsoever they had been there. ou was there?
Halfway across the world, in a darkened cemetery, thirty vampires crawled, the leader carrying the girl over his shoulders. She stirred awake. Blinking, she saw twenty-nine vampire eyes staring back at her.
Leader growled. "After all that blood loss, you'd think she'd be dead."
"Why am I so thirsty?" she moaned, and he grinned. "You have become one of us, my dear. Your reborn name is Carrie, for I have carried toi to the other side."
Carrie moaned again. "BLOOD!" she screamed, her eyes wide open. She threw herself at a nearby black cat and quickly drained it. "The sweet taste of blood!"
The leader smiled. "She has awakened."
