People have been talking about Leyton returning in S8 and i was thinking do i really want them to return?
If they did I hope it would only be for a few episodes and that it would tie in with the relevant storylines. I also wouldn`t want them to take all the screentime away from the Brulian engagement and Naley baby.
You would think that i would be excited because I love LP but i love them so much that i`d only want them to return permanently if they had a good storyline and a good reason {other than Naley baby and Brulian wedding} to return. I wouldn`t want them to be ruined if they returned for good or to just be a cute but boring background couple all season.
I really don`t know i`m kind of undecided.
In short i`d want them to return for good but only if they were given a good storyline and if they had a proper reason for coming back to stay for good {not just something Mark made up last minute that makes no sense!}
I love LP and i don`t want their incredible journey ruined by sloppy writing.

After really considering it... I think i'd just want them back for Brulian's wedding. That way we get to see them, they get to interact with the other core 3 a little bit, they're there for an important moment that they SHOULD be there for, and we get our LP fix... but their story doesn't have to be ruined in any way, by being there for a whole season... or multiple episodes.

At this point, I'd rather just have them make a special guest appearance, instead of a permanent return. And it has nothing to do with my lack of love for LP. Obviously I love them, and would love to see another season of them. But at this point, it more so has to do with my lack of faith in Mark to write them well lol... considering the fact that he can't write anything well anymore these days. I DO NOT want him to ruin LP, and the amazing ending that they had.

Yes, I've been thinking about this & I've decided that I want them just for Brulian's wedding,too!
Otherwise if they return for more than 1 episode or so, they would just stand in the background and I think that will ruin them. I want them to stay the 'epic' way they left in Season 6<3
I'd like them to spend some time with the core 3, some Breyton moments, Laley moments, brother-moments etc

I originally thought that I would want them to come back no matter what, but after reading your comments, I have changed my mind. You guys are so right! I would hate for Leyton to be ruined. I do hope though that they come back for Brooke's wedding.
