Episodes 4.11-Finale

LUCAS: I slowly but very gently take her in my arms, and I bring her in real close like this. Wow. Last time we kissed, it was so damn good, I collapsed. I'm joking.

PEYTON: I've been holding in my feelings because I'm in l’amour with him.
HALEY: Which makes no sense whatsoever.
PEYTON: Well, it does to me. The last time Lucas and I kissed, like, really kissed, he had a cœur, coeur attack, and he almost died. I'm bad luck.
HALEY: Oh, shut up. toi are not.
PEYTON: Yeah, I am. Think about every person I've gotten close to-- my mom, Jake, Ellie, Derek. Where are they all now? Even my dad works a thousand miles away.
HALEY: Peyton, there's one thing that you're not considering in all of this.
PEYTON: What's that?
HALEY: None of those people are Lucas.

PEYTON: I want to Kiss you, Luke. I do. I just don't want to lose you.
LUCAS: Hey, what makes toi think you're gonna lose me?
PEYTON: Only the fact that I lose everyone I care about. Anytime I open up to someone, they walk out of my life, ou they die. ou they déplacer away ou they get shipped off to Iraq ou they turn into frickin' Norman Bates or...
LUCAS: Not everyone.
PEYTON: Look, the last time we kissed, toi had a cœur, coeur attack.
LUCAS: And I didn't die. I couldn't die. Do toi know why? Because I had to come back and look into those green eyes of yours and tell toi I l’amour you. I do. I l’amour you, Peyton. toi didn't push me away. I came back for you. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you.

LUCAS: I've been waiting for you.
PEYTON: I think we've waited long enough.

LUCAS (V.O.): Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that toi expect it to always be there, because toi can't remember a time in your life when it wasn't. But then one jour toi feel something else, something that feels wrong, only because it's so unfamiliar. And in that moment toi realize you're happy.

TEACHER: Passing notes, Mr. Scott? How about we share this with the class?
LUCAS: Be happy to. It just says that... "Peyton, toi look amazing. And I can't wait till class is over so I can look at those green eyes and Kiss your perfect lips."

TEACHER: Oh, young love. At least you'll be together in detention.
PEYTON: So worth it.

LUCAS: That was pretty awesome.
PEYTON: I know.
LUCAS: Kind of like your smile. Happy looks good on you.
PEYTON: Yeah? I feel like I'm living in an Air Supply song.
LUCAS: Well, toi know, if we're gonna go '80s, I'm plus of a van Halen fan.
PEYTON: No, it's just, everything's better now, toi know, pinks are pinker and blues are bluer, and even my favourite foods taste yummier.
LUCAS: Yummier?
PEYTON: Yummier.

LUCAS: If anyone can make a chocolate-chip cookie taste better, I'm sure it's you.
PEYTON: toi are so feeling the love!
LUCAS: Well, I'll share anything for a cookie.
PEYTON: Come with me.

LUCAS: So, toi know, if we're both feeling the love, what are we doing in a cemetery?
PEYTON: There's somebody I want toi to meet. Hi, mom. It's me. So, this is Lucas, the boy I've been telling toi about. Look what he's done. He's got me smiling. Can toi believe it?
LUCAS: Hey, Mrs. Sawyer. I just want toi to know that Peyton's the best thing I have in my life. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for her.
PEYTON: Likewise.

KAREN: I almost didn't recognize toi without Peyton attached to your hip.
LUCAS: Funny.
KAREN: Well, if it matters, I approve. toi have had the biggest crush on her for years.
LUCAS: Mom, guys don't have crushes. Girls have crushes.
KAREN: Well, what do guys have? The hots?
LUCAS: The hots. Seriously, where do toi come up with this stuff?

LUCAS: I just want to let it all go away, toi know? I don't want to be like this anymore. How would toi like to just be happy, hmm?
PEYTON: I thought you'd never ask.

LUCAS (to Peyton): Now, if toi are going to be taking anything off, please, please, please, let me help you.

LUCAS (to Peyton): This is the best cookie I've ever had.

LUCAS: Happiness comes in many forms. In the company of good friends, in the feeling toi get when toi make someone else's dream come true, ou in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy, because toi never know how fleeting that happiness might be.

LUCAS: toi remember Peyton, right?
GLENDA: Yeah, sure, the loner.
PEYTON: Loner cheerleader. I really liked the picture toi took of Lucas. The eye shadow was a little Fall Out Boy, though.

PEYTON: Well, what about me? I’m…I can be impartial.
LUCAS: I don’t think so.
PEYTON: Why?
LUCAS: Because you’re in it.
PEYTON: Give me that book right now.

PEYTON: Pretty please with me on top?
LUCAS: Well, I can be persuaded.

PEYTON: Okay. No. Okay, stop, stop, stop. I don’t think so.
LUCAS: Okay, come on. I’ll let toi read the first six chapters of my book.
PEYTON: That's very sexy, but I just want our first time to be special. And right now it's really not with Nationals' CD wedged underneath my back, which is a very good album, par the way.

PEYTON (to Brooke): toi know I l’amour him. I really do. But I never meant for my l’amour for him to hurt you.

PEYTON: So, we were in the chapter where toi take your girlfriend up to that empty bedroom at the party.
LUCAS: I think I may need to do a little research first.
PEYTON: I was hoping you'd say that.

LUCAS: I thought toi a dit toi wanted to wait.
PEYTON: Do toi remember what toi a dit the last time we were here? toi a dit toi wanted it all, and I walked away. I made a big mistake that night 'cause all I wanted was sex.
LUCAS: What do toi want now?
PEYTON: Now I want what toi wanted. I want everything with you.

PEYTON: So, the first thing toi did this morning was go see Brooke?
LUCAS: It was on the way.
PEYTON: toi know what else is on the way? My front door. Shut it when toi leave.

LUCAS: I like the red dress.
PEYTON: toi would. It's Brooke's.
LUCAS: Why do toi have it?
PEYTON: So she doesn't.
LUCAS: Okay, don't toi think stealing Brooke's prom dress is going a little bit too far?
PEYTON: No, I think going a little too far is making your friend feel like a whore when you've done worse.
LUCAS: Didn't we kind of do the same thing to her?
PEYTON: We had sex? That's funny. I don't really remember. It must not have been very good.
LUCAS: Look, we didn’t have sex, but we did sneak around behind her back.
PEYTON: Do toi ever actually defend the person you’re dating?

HALEY (to Lucas): You've got to let her know that you're there for her and that you're nothing like her ex-boyfriend.

LUCAS: I think you're gonna regret not going. I know I'll regret not going with you.
PEYTON: I just can't. I'm sorry.
LUCAS: Well, I really hope toi change your mind, because I'm coming back later, and I'm picking toi up. And if toi open that door, I know you're gonna look beautiful. And then we're gonna have a great night. And if not, I guess I'm going alone.

NATHAN: Because toi cared. That's who toi are. toi care about Lucas because toi know he loves you, and toi probably still care about me and Brooke because toi know we l’amour you, too. Just face it, Peyton. toi care. So get dressed and go with Lucas. I'll see toi there.

LUCAS: salut Peyton, this isn’t right. You’re the one I wanna be with tonight, prom ou not. So call me, okay? Please.

LUCAS: Okay toi think that’s bad, Peyton wrote to me in my sophomore yearbook, “Peyton Sawyer.”
PEYTON: Come on! I didn’t even know toi then.
LUCAS: toi know how hard I worked to get my yearbook in front of her? And then she signs her damn name. I was crushed.

PEYTON: Lucas Scott, will toi go to prom with me?
LUCAS: Absolutely.

PEYTON: Thanks for being so good to me this week, Luke, and to Brooke. It means everything.
LUCAS: I’d do anything for you.

PEYTON: Hey, toi brought protection, right?
LUCAS: Have toi met my father?
PEYTON: Oh, of course toi did, sorry. Luke, I’m really glad we waited. Last an would have been just sex, and now I…I am so in l’amour with you.
LUCAS: I l’amour you, too, Peyton.

LUCAS: Hey, you. toi okay? Wow, toi look beautiful. toi seem sad.
PEYTON: No, I’m not. It’s just… I really l’amour you, Lucas, and it’s a big deal.
LUCAS: I l’amour you, too, Peyton. I promise.

PEYTON: Excuse me. I have a boyfriend.
LUCAS: Really? Where is he?
PEYTON: Good question. I’ve been wondering that myself for two days.
LUCAS: Yeah, I guess I deserve that.
PEYTON: Makes a girl feel cheap. Give it up in Honey Grove and then poof! Vanishing boyfriend.
LUCAS: Poof?
PEYTON: Poof.

PEYTON: I applied for an internship at Sire Records a few months ago, before we were together. And I just found out I got it.
LUCAS: Oh, my God, that’s great.
PEYTON: It’s in Los Angeles.
LUCAS: Take it. toi deserve it.
PEYTON: I don’t want to leave you.
LUCAS: I will be here when toi get back. But toi are destined for greatness Peyton, and we both know that. This is your first step. toi can’t pass that up.
PEYTON: Are toi sure?
LUCAS: Yeah. I’m so proud of you. Look, Peyton. toi know I l’amour you, right?
PEYTON: Yeah.
LUCAS: No matter what happens to either one of us, toi will always be In my heart.

PEYTON: toi know, I… I really do appreciate toi being supportive about all of this, but a little bit of disappointment would be good for my ego.
LUCAS: I just want toi to be happy, Peyton. toi have some much magic in you. I don’t want to hold that back.
PEYTON: But everything’s okay?
LUCAS: I wish we’d never left that hotel room in Honey Grove because you’re prefect. And we’re prefect. And that night was prefect.
PEYTON: Well, saying that just earned toi another one.
LUCAS: I gotta go back to the hospital.
PEYTON: Can I come with you?
LUCAS: Sure. Just, let me hold toi for a couple plus minutes. That’s what’s gonna fix me.

PEYTON: Okay. Before toi do, I think there’s something toi should see. If toi skip graduation, we’re all gonna skip with you. Remember what toi told me about how much I’d regret it if I skipped prom? toi were right. And I think your mom would want toi to graduate with all your friends.

LUCAS: You’ve got to be kidding me, again?
PEYTON: I guess.
LUCAS: Doesn’t look like anything’s wrong. toi sure it won’t start? Peyton?
PEYTON: Oh, the car’s fine. I was just feeling sentimental about the first time we spoke.
LUCAS: Feeling sentimental ou avoiding packing for your trip to Los Angeles with Brooke tomorrow?
PEYTON: I don’t wanna go. I mean, I do wanna go. I’m just…I’m gonna miss you.

LUCAS: I don’t want toi to go`
PEYTON: What?
LUCAS: I’m sorry, I just…I’ve been trying to put a good face on.. God, I l’amour toi so much, Peyton.
PEYTON: So toi want me to stay?
LUCAS: Yeah.
PEYTON: Then I’ll stay.
LUCAS: No, toi won’t. I just…I want toi to stay, but I won’t let you. And do toi know why? Because I’ve told toi before, you’re destined for greatness and it starts tomorrow morning.
Peyton: It’s not gonna matter anyway, whether I stay ou go, with us. Because I’m gonna l’amour toi forever, Lucas Scott.
