I donno, their was just something off about him killing the kid to me so I think the kid is still alive. I hope we get to see it, it would be great plot for Cara's storyline and since it's both Darken and Cara's kid, you know craziness will ensue. (Their kid would be epic!)

Yeah, the kid's dead, no doubt about it. A pity, as he would have been pretty much the most awesome kid EVER. Come on, with parents like that, he would have been epic!
