LeBron James was born on the 30th of December, 1984 in Akron, Ohio, USA. He was raised in a single parent family par his mother Gloria James, with his father playing no role in LeBron's life. James began playing basketball, basket-ball at an early age and was always passionate about the sport. His mother played a large role in keeping the young LeBron focused on his passions and out of trouble.
