The Gretchen Diaries

This is actually a true story, I just substituted Gretchen for Isabella. Okay: here it goes:

I was sitting on my porch wondering what to do, I needed help, I Gretchen McVail (made up last name) am not a baby! I can't have my mom's help she doesn't understand! I'm 13 and I think I got my first period in class... I freaked out so I ran to the bathroom and Mrs. Shallestom told me sit down. Obviously, I didn't know it was coming ou I would've bought tampons ou something... But NO! I didn't see that coming. My best friend Melody (she actually was a girl named Melody) asked me what's wrong and I just a dit nothing. Well, this is why I needed help: All the boys started laughing at me... Except John (not actual name his actual name is Greg) he just winked at me n' all... Is he montrer me a l’amour connection?! At this age?! I went to talk to Melody after school. "Well, maybe he just likes you?" she suggested. "That's what I'm trying to avoid!" I said. "No Gretchen, I mean As a friend." She said. Okay, we'll maybe she's right. I thought.
