Labyrinth Question
Do toi think Sarah made the right choice in telling jareth "you have no power over me," ?
My opinion is that Sarah made a very poor choice. Jareth wasn't really trying to be evil (he might have come off that way) but think about it....he only took Toby away because she wished him away, Toby was never harmed (in fact jareth definitely had a soft spot for Toby), he seemed kinda jealous and hurt that Sarah considered hoggle her best friend and she didn't give a shit about him, he looked like he was flirting with her in the oubliette, he looked heartbroken </3 when Sarah popped the bubble the ball was in and definitely at the end. :( plus "fear me, l’amour me, do as I say and I will be your slave," seems to me like he's asking for a mutual loving relationship. True jareth doesn't have the best social skills and is just as immature as Sarah, but I think it was a bad choice because Toby really seemed to be an annoying brat when they were all in the Escher room and he wanted the shiny crystal plus than Sarah and no offense but her stepmom is a chienne and her father is an idiot. What kind of life/ family is that? If I were Sarah I would say yes but only if Toby goes back above ground where he belongs. What do toi guys think? There's no right ou wrong answer. Please answer below. ;)
