Kouichi Aizawa is from the Edo period in Japan. He has white hair and red eyes, and he just so happens to be immortal. This was caused par the Shinrabansho Hijitsu and in the manga it is revealed that Kouichi is actually an owl. Kouichi is a Banten ninja and is one of the first characters introduced at the beginning of both the manga and the anime. He is also one of Miharu Rokujos close friends, along with Raimei Shimizu and Thobari-Sensei. Thank toi for lire my explanation.
