Season One

Kate: "You decided to rejoindre us."
Sawyer: "I'm a complex guy, sweetheart."

[everyone but Sawyer runs from the polar bear]
Kate: "Sawyer!" [turns to run back to him]
Sayid: "Let him go!"

Sawyer: "I know your type."
Kate: "I'm not so sure."
Sawyer: "Yeah, I know girls like you."
Kate: "Not girls exactly like me."

Sawyer: "It's about time."
Kate: "For what?"
Sawyer: "I made this birthday wish four years ago."

Sawyer: "Are toi going with the pessimists? ou staying here waiting for the rescue boats?"
Kate: "Are toi going?"
Sawyer: "Well that's the real trick isn't it? We all pack up, stay at the caves, suivant jour a plane passes by... they're gonna go on their merry way and be none the wiser. On the other hand, stay here... get eaten par boars, fall off a rock, not gonna be anyone around to answer that 911 call."
Kate: "Still haven't answered my question."
Sawyer: "You didn't answer mine... and I asked first."

Jack: "I wish I shared your faith."
Sawyer: "I wouldn't mind sharing a few things with her myself."

Kate: "It must be exhausting."
Sawyer: "What's that?"
Kate: "Living like a parasite - always taking, never giving."
Sawyer: "Well, you've got me pegged don't you?"
Kate: "I get it now. toi don't want off this island because there's nothing for toi to go back for. Nobody toi miss... and no one misses you."
Sawyer: "Oh, you're feelin' sorry for me."
Kate: "I don't feel sorry for you. I pity you."

Kate: "You try to be a pig ou it just come naturally?"

Sawyer: "Hell, give me a couple of band-aids, bottle of peroxide... I could run this island too."
Kate: "You're actually comparing yourself to Jack?"
Sawyer: "Difference between us ain't that big, sweetheart."

Kate: "Must be cold without your trunks."
Sawyer: "You bet. How about toi come a little closer and warm me up?"
Kate: "You sure know how to make a girl feel special, Sawyer."

Kate: "What do toi want for the inhalers?"
Sawyer: "Huh. Good question. Hang on a tick. What do I want? A Kiss oughta do it."
Kate: "What?"
Sawyer: "A kiss... from you, right now."
[pause]
Kate: "I don't buy it."
Sawyer: "Buy what?"
Kate: "The act. toi try too hard, Sawyer. I ask toi to help a woman who can't breathe and toi want me to Kiss you? Nobody's that disgusting. [pause] I've seen you, toi know."
Sawyer: "Seen me what?"
Kate: "With that piece of paper. The one toi keep in your pocket. I've seen the expression on your face when toi read it... how carefully toi fold it up. It means something to you. So toi can play games all toi want but I know there's a human being in there somewhere. [pause] Give me the medication."
Sawyer: "You think toi understand me?"
Kate: "Yeah. I think I have a--"
Sawyer: "--Shut up! toi wanna know what kind of human being I am? Read it."

Kate: "The thing that I keep coming back around to is that toi want to be hated."

Kate: "One outcast to another? I'd think about making plus of an effort."
Sawyer: "Duly noted!"

Sawyer: "I've got two tubes of sunscreen and a flashlight says he chokes."
[everyone silently looks at Sawyer, he turns to leave]
Kate: "I'll take that action."

Kate: "What, are toi stalking me now?"
Sawyer: "Stalking you?! I was protecting you."
Kate: "From what? Southern perverts?"

Sawyer: "Come on, Freckles. All we been through on this damn island, don't we deserve somethin' good?"

Kate: "Get off of me."
Sawyer: "Golly, I hate to bicker about positions, sweetheart, but I think you're the one on top."

Sawyer: "If toi wanted to play rough, all toi had to do was say so. [pause] toi wanna try for it again?"

Sawyer: "I never cared about having carte blanche because I just wanted to spend some time with the only other person on this island that just don't belong."
[Kate drinks]

Sawyer: "I never killed a man [both drink] Well... looks like we got somethin' in common after all."

Sawyer: "That's three times it's attacked me."
Kate: "Maybe it's got your scent - doesn't like your cologne."
Sawyer: "I don't wear cologne."
Kate: "Yes toi do."

Sawyer: "You need anything else? I can come with ya."
Kate: "Too many cooks already... but thanks."

Sawyer: "She don't care about nothin' - nobody but herself."

Kate: "Are toi here to say sorry, Sawyer?"
Sawyer: "Sorry don't suit me."

Kate: "Why is it so important for toi to be on that raft?"
Sawyer: "'Cause there ain't anything on this island worth staying for."

Season Two

Kate: "We didn't, uh... I didn't say good bye."

Kate: "I'll do it."
Jack: "No, no, I got it."
Kate: "I can do it. Sawyer... okay. toi have to listen to me, okay? The only way that toi are gonna get better is if toi take this pill. So I need toi to avaler, hirondelle it, okay? K, here we go. [puts the pill in his mouth, raises the water glass] Now swallow. Swallow. [Sawyer swallows] Good, good!"
Jack: "Nice job. I never learned the whole 'whisper in the ear' thing in med school." [Kate smiles and continues resting her head on Sawyer's]

Kate: "Hey. Hey. Can toi hear me? You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be alright. You're home."

Sawyer: "Where is she?"
Jack: "You mean Kate? She's been watching over toi for the past 24 hours straight. The only way I could get rid of her was to send her out to get some nourriture for you."
Sawyer: "[mumbles] I l’amour her. [more clearly] I l’amour her."

Kate: "Every time that I look at Sawyer, every time I feel something for him... I see you, Wayne. It makes me sick."
Sawyer: "That's about the sweetest thing I've ever heard."

Kate: "You played us. toi played me."

Kate: "I don't think this has anything to do with guns. ou with getting your stash back. I think toi want people to hate you!"
Sawyer: "Good thing toi don't hate me, Freckles."

Sawyer: "You run, I con. Tiger don't change their stripes."

Season Three

Kate: "What did toi do with Sawyer and Jack?"
Ben: "Now, why Sawyer?"
Kate: "Why Sawyer what?"
Ben: "He's the first one toi asked about. 'What did toi do with Sawyer and Jack?'"

Kate: "You expect me to work in this dress?"
Pickett: "It's up to you. toi can take it off if toi want."
[Sawyer gives Kate a suggestive look, she's not amused]
Sawyer: [to Pickett] How dare you.

Kate: "Quit starin' at my ass."
Sawyer: "Give me somethin' else to stare at."

Sawyer: "You taste like strawberries."
Kate: "You taste like poisson biscuits."

Pickett: "You l’amour this guy?!"
Kate: "What?!"
Pickett: "I a dit do toi l’amour him?!"
Kate: "Stop!"
Pickett: "Do toi l’amour him?! Do toi l’amour him?!"
Kate: "Leave him alone!"
Pickett: "Do toi l’amour him?!"
Kate: "What are toi doin'?! Stop!"

Ben: "Funny thing is, us telling toi about the pace maker wasn't what kept toi in line, it was when I threatened her. toi work so hard to make her think toi don't care. That toi don't need her. A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody."

Kate: "I don't know what they did to toi but I know you're scared enough to lie about it and that scares me plus than anything that they have done to us before!"

Alex: "Listen, whatever they say, don't believe them. They're gonna kill your boyfriend!"

Juliet: "I would like toi to put this on, and come with me. Please."
Kate: "You think I’m going to put a capuche, hotte over my head because toi a dit please?"
Juliet: "No, Kate. I think you’re going to put a capuche, hotte over your head because the man standing behind me, the one who’s burning a hole in my back? That man is going to kill Sawyer. But if toi put this on, and toi come with me, there’s something toi can do for us that will save his life."
[Kate puts the capuche, hotte over her head]

Kate: "Jack... toi have to do it."
Jack: "What?"
Kate: "This thing that they told toi to do, this operation... she a dit that if toi do it then that they would--"
Jack: "What did they do to you?"
Kate: "Jack, I--"
Jack: "What did they do to you?!"
Kate: "Nothing. They didn't--"
Jack: "How did they get toi to ask me?!"
Kate: "Jack, please!"
Jack: "What did they offer you?!"
Kate: "Nothing, they--"
Jack: "Then what are toi doing here?!"
Kate: "They're gonna kill Sawyer!"

Kate: "When were toi plannin' on tellin' me this?!"
Sawyer: "Never."
Kate: "Why not?! Why wouldn't you?!"
Sawyer: "Because I wanted toi to believe that we had a damn chance."

Sawyer: "You a dit 'I l’amour you'... that was just to get him to stop, right? [Kate kisses Sawyer tenderly] I l’amour toi too."

Pickett: "You let go ou I do her too. Let go!"
Kate: "Don't toi let go. Don't even think about it Sawyer, toi fight! No, no! Sawyer, no! Don't! No! Sawyer, please! Get your hands off of him!"
Pickett: "Down on your knees!"
Kate: "Please! I will do anything toi want!"
Pickett: "I want toi to watch."
Sawyer: "Close your eyes, Freckles."
Kate: "Stand up."
Sawyer: "Close your eyes!"
Kate: "Don't toi give up! No! NO! No!"

Kate: "You know, all toi have to do is say sorry. We could start again, give each other a clean slate."
Sawyer: [chuckling] "Clean slate. Like on Little House."
Kate: "What?"
Sawyer: "Little House on the Prarie."
Kate: [laughing] "You call it Little House?"

Kate: "James."
Sawyer: "I ain't got nothin' to be sorry for."
Kate: "So that's how it's gonna be? Welcome home, Sawyer."
Sawyer: "Welcome home, Kate."

Hurley: "She'll be okay, dude. Kate. I know you're worried about her. But she's with Locke and Sayid - she's gonna be fine."

Kate: "I wanna go back to make sure they're alright."
Sawyer: "Of course toi do."
Kate: "What's that supposed to mean?"
Sawyer: "It means, Kate, there's always someone to go back for."
Kate: "What's the matter with you?"
Sawyer: "Nothin'."
Kate: "Nothing?!"
Sawyer: "I'm fine!"
Kate: "Why don't toi just tell me what happened?!" [splashes Sawyer with water]
Sawyer: "What'd toi do that for?!"
Kate: "To wake toi up! Ever since toi got that tape from Locke, it's like you've been sleep-walking. toi don't care about our friends, fine! But... it's like toi don't care about anything anymore! And since when did toi start callin' me Kate?!"

Season Four

Kate: "What are toi doing?"
Sawyer: "Same thing I've always done, Kate. Survivin'."

Sawyer: "What are toi doing with Jack?"
Kate: "I went with Jack because I believe he can get us off this island."
Sawyer: "I guess that's the difference between us. I ain't lookin' to leave."
Kate: "Why not?"
Sawyer: "'Cause I ain't got nothin' back there for me."
Kate: "And what's here that's so much better?"

Sawyer: "Look around us, Freckles. We got roofs over our heads, electricity, showers, beds."
Kate: "How long, Sawyer?! How long do toi think we can play house?"
Sawyer: "Why don't we find out?"

Kate: "He wants me gone par tomorrow."
Sawyer: "What? He... banished you? Well, I un-banish you."

Sawyer: "You're gonna be alright. I'll keep toi safe."

Jack: "Tell me!"
Kate: "I was doing something for him."
Jack: "For who?"
Kate: "For Sawyer. I made him a promise."
Jack: "What?"
Kate: "It doesn't matter, it has nothing to do with us!"
Jack: "Then why won't toi tell me?"
Kate: "Because... because he wouldn't want me to."

[Sawyer whispers something in Kate's ear]
Kate: "Why are toi telling me this?"
[Sawyer kisses Kate]
Sawyer: "Just do it, Freckles." [jumps out of the helicopter]
Kate: "Sawyer!"

Season Five

Juliet: "Why did toi jump off that helicopter?"
Sawyer: "I told you, we were running out of gas. I wanted to make sure she... I wanted to make sure they got back to the boat. Don't matter anyway now, does it?"

Daniel: "You can't change the past, James!"
Sawyer: "Everybody I care about just blew up on your damn boat. I know what I can't change."

Kate: "After everyone we've Lost - Michael, Jin, and Sawyer - I can't lose him too."
Jack: "Sawyer's not dead."
Kate: "No... but he's gone."

Locke: "Don't toi want 'em to come back, James? Don't toi want her to come back?"
Sawyer: "It doesn't matter what I want."

Sawyer: "I was close enough to touch her. If I wanted to, I could've stood right up and talked to her."
Juliet: "Why didn't you?"
Sawyer: "What's done is done."

Horace: "It's only been 3 years, Jim. Just 3 years that he's been gone. Is that really long enough to get over someone?"
Sawyer: "I had a thing for a girl once. And I had a shot at her... but I didn't take it. For a little while I'd lay in lit every night wonderin' if it was a mistake. Wonderin'... if I'd ever stop thinkin' about her. And now I can barely even remember what she looks like. Her face is... she's just gone. And she ain't never comin' back."

Cassidy: "Why didn't he come back with the rest of you?"
Kate: "The helicopter that we were on was running out of gas so.. he jumped so that we could make it to the boat."
Cassidy: "What a coward."
Kate: "He was trying to do the right thing."
Cassidy: "He was trying to get away from you."

Cassidy: "You don't need to explain it, Kate. toi got the same look on your face I did when he ditched me. All I have for toi is sympathy."

Kate: "I had to take him, he needed me."
Cassidy: "You needed him. Sawyer broke your heart. How else were toi supposed to fix it?"

Kate: "Is that why toi asked me to take care of your daughter?"
Sawyer: "Did you?"
Kate: "Of course I did."

Sawyer: "What's she like?"
Kate: "Clementine?"
Sawyer: "Yeah. Clementine."
Kate: "Oh, she's beautiful. Looks just like toi when she smiles."

Sawyer: "I bet toi and Cassidy had a lot to talk about."
Kate: "She had an interesting theory about why toi jumped off the chopper."
Sawyer: "Yeah? What's that?"
Kate: "She thought toi were worried about what would happen if toi didn't."

Sawyer: "Come with us, Freckles."

Stuart: [hits Sawyer] "Believe me, I'm getting tired of this too, Jim. So why don't toi tell me where your girlfriend took the boy?"

Sawyer: "What the hell are toi doing here? How'd toi get caught?"
Kate: "I came back to get you."

Bernard: "So we die. We just care about being together. [Sawyer looks at Kate] That's all that matters in the end."

Season Six

Kate: "I'll be sure to leave a trail so toi can follow us."
Sawyer: "I ain't followin' nobody, Kate."

Kate: "What are toi thinking?"
Sawyer: "I'm thinking about running, Kate."

Sawyer: "Don't come after me."

Kate: "Let me go. I will bring him back and I can make him stay."

Lennon: "It's very important that he gets back here safely. What makes toi think he's going to listen to you?"
Kate: "I can be very convincing when I want to be."

Aldo: "So what's your strategy for bringing your boyfriend back?"

Jin: "Who do toi care about, Kate?"
Kate: "Good luck, Jin."
Jin: "Once toi catch up with Sawyer... then what?"
Kate: "I guess we'll figure that out together."

Sawyer: "What the hell are toi doing here?"
Kate: "I was worried about you."

Sawyer: "You and me are gettin' the hell off this island."

Sawyer: "You remember me? From the airport? We were on the same flight from Sydney?"
Kate: "Yep. I remember."
Sawyer: "Well, don't toi think it's weird? toi and me being on the same flight, having that little meet up in the elevator? And a week later, boom! Out of all the cars in Los Angeles, toi smash into mine. Almost like someone's tryin' to put us together."

Kate: "You saw I was wearing handcuffs."
Sawyer: "I didn't see any handcuffs. All I saw was a pretty lady who needed the door held open for her."
Kate: "You know what I think? I think toi let me go because toi went to Australia and toi didn't want anyone to know toi were there. Should I tell that to the feds when they get here?"
Sawyer: "Oh, I like you."

Locke: "You can take anyone toi want."
Sawyer: "How 'bout it, Freckles? Know anything about sailing?"
Kate: "I know enough."

Widmore: "Drop the gun! Put the gun down ou I'll kill her!" [holds a gun to Kate's head]
Sawyer: "You ain't gonna kill anybody, otherwise toi wouldn't be throwing us in a cage."
Widmore: "I have a liste of names. Four. You're on it, as are Reyas, the Kwons. Kate Austen - she's not. It doesn't matter to me whether she lives ou dies."
Kate: "Don't listen to him."
[Sawyer lowers the gun]

Kate: "What now?"
Sawyer: "We jump."
