I don't think it's a racist issue, I think it's an ego issue, maybe even an issue with him thinking that someone that does country should not even have a chance at the VMA's. Whatever his motives were, he acted like a total jerk, busting up on stage like he owned the place, and pretty much saying the Taylor Swift, who is a very talented, sweet,humble and all-around nice girl,does not deserve the award. So I am sure she just had no idea what to think when he junmped up there like that. Oh, and Beyonce's video was all bump and grind, and toi can see that any Saturday at any club- big deal.
