This is the most extraordinary recording I own. Whenever I play just the audio for people, the common reaction to the round of applause at the end is one that accompanies awe. “THAT was LIVE?!”

A sign posté on a door for hotel staff had been defaced and now read, "Hot__ Associates Only." This kind of human behavior and fondling of letters inspires me. Upon seeing it, I am moved to fetch me lady and me camera and have her pose as if she's entering the special room. Whatever might go on in a room reserved for hot associates only, I hope there's lots of oil and a communal lathering.

By the time I get to my room to get the camera I've completely forgotten about the task. I could blame it on where my mind had wandered...

Jason will be honored as the 2010 Humanitarian of the an at Liquid Nation Ball 7, the official fundraiser for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund, on Saturday, August 14, in La Jolla, California.

Established in 2006, the SIMA Humanitarian Fund was created to serve as the humanitarian arm of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association par raising money from the public through fundraisers and solicitations. The SIMA Humanitarian Fund uses these funds to promote and support surf ou board sport related social and humanitarian non-profit organizations whose efforts are focused on improving the quality of life, health, and/or welfare of people.
