Over the last couple of days though, I have replaced the photos of my ex with photos of James Dean (about damn time,too -- we've been divorced for four years!!)
I now have a mini-gallery of James Dean photos in my bedroom. Here they are! I would have them all over the house, but out of respect for my daughter, I do not force my l’amour of James Dean onto her, even though it IS my house and I have every right to hang pictures anywhere I please.
The only "non-picture" is a framed quote from "The Little Prince", his favori book. It says: "In one of the stars I shall be living, In one of them I shall be laughing, And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when toi look at the sky at night." I had originally bought that after my sister died two years il y a because my mom had decided that my sister should be stars, and she (my mom) liked the book, but when I read that Jimmy liked it too, it seemed only natural to put it among the photographs of him.
Anyway, "Note Girl" thought I was overly-obsessive about my ex (HE divorced ME -- I fought it). She now wants to have me committed. I told her that I would have to consent to it first, and I never would because I am completely sane. A little off-kilter perhaps, but sane.
So tell me, have I gone too far?
