I started to get a little mad; he truly didn’t notice my l’amour for him at all. I didn’t have anything else to say, I just kept on driving until we got to the beach. I pulled up to the space, I quickly turned off my car. He noticed me upset, he grabbed my arm.
“What’s the matter with you?”
“Nothing Jake, I just wished that toi could open those eyes and realize”……I stopped myself.
“Realize what?” he asked. He looked at me with concerned written in his face.
“That……that….that she isn’t the one for you” I know I lied but I didn’t want to be rejected.
“Keila, don’t worry, I will be okay, I have a feeling she is gonna come around” I rolled my eyes as if to say whatever.
“Jake, she is going to marry him, when do toi think she is going to get it” I a dit as I put up quotation marks over my head.
“You don’t get it, she loves me, she will notice that I’m the one for her” I just pulled away from him and walked away, Leah saw what was going on from the distance.
“Hey girl, wanna talk” she asked me while she sat suivant to me.
“Yea, that would be good” we walked towards arbre log that was my favori spot at the beach.
“Okay, tell me what’s up” she a dit as he sat down.
“Jake, just don’t notice me at all”
“Well he is Jake” she giggled.
“I know, but I’m tired of waiting” I started to take off my sneakers and stuck my feet in the sand that always relaxed me. She placed her arm around my shoulder.
“Start dating, have fun, you’re a beautiful girl, maybe toi guys aren’t meant to be like toi grandfather told toi that night” she was right; his vision didn’t actually mean I would end up with Jake forever. I smiled. “Well there is this new kid at the supermarket”
“Sorry kiddo, I already got dibs on him” she a dit as she giggled. I giggled along with her.
“I guess I will look around” I said.
“Listen I know this guy, his name is Ernie, he is super cute and toi guys have a lot in common. If toi want I could invite him over now, so toi meet him.”
“Sure that would be nice.” She quickly dialed his number. We walked back, to the pack, they light up a little fire, and we sat around it, I noticed Jake glancing at me every now and then, I just pretend that I didn’t notice. We began to talk about our child capuche, hotte days, running around in the woods till it got dark, we always had each other’s back, even though now there all basically werewolf’s we all remain a tight family. I was startled par a unfamiliar voice I looked up to see a handsome young man, about in his late teens. Leah stood up, everyone this is one of my Friends Ernie. I stood up; I must admit he was very, very cute, he was tall, he look just like Steven Strait form the movie covenant.
“Oh, My Goodness, toi look like……” but he quickly cut me off.
“I know, I know, like Steven Strait, I get that a lot.” I laughed.
“This is my friend Keila” a dit Leah.
“I know who she is, I sit behind toi in 1st period, toi and him” he pointed at Jacob, Jacob just glared at us. He sat in between me and Leah. After a few minutes he asked me to rejoindre him for a little walk. Adam jumped up “You’re not taken my sister anywhere” Jacob grabbed his forearm. “Easy there big boy” Jacob joked. Adam already phased he still has a hard time controlling his temper, he always had a bad temper but it got ten times worst when he phased.
“Remember our training” a dit Sam. Adam slowly but surely calmed down. I felt bad for Ernie, he was scared, he didn’t understand anything that was going on.
“Listen let’s sit at my favori spot” I suggested. Jacob stood up and placed his hand on Adams shoulders and try to force him down. “Okay big guy, sit down and relax” Adam sat down I saw his shoulder’s still flaring. But I turned around and started to walk with Ernie. We sat at my favori spot, the moon was bright, I loved the way it reflected off the ocean.
“Are toi seeing anyone?” he asked me
“No, I can’t seem to find the right guy” He laughed “Really, but your soooo beautiful”
“Thank you, what about you. Are toi seeing anyone?” I asked.
“Well, its complicated, we on a little break” he said. Darn it, how come the good ones have to be somewhat committed I told myself. “So you’re in a relationship?” I asked.
“No, I’m single for now but I do l’amour her and want to make it work with her”
“Wow, that’s nice” I said, but I was upset about him wasting my time. After a little while of getting to know each other we did find out we had a lot in common. We started to head back with the pack. Everything got quite when we got back. Seth and Quil I notice was chuckling, Jacob just stared at me, I didn’t know what to think of it, was it a interested look, ou a protective look, ou just a look. Poor Ernie felt so unconformable.
“Listen I’m going to head home, lets meet up for a movie tomorrow?”
“Sure, sounds great” I a dit cheerfully. He hugged me goodbye, It was like he ran to his car, my Friends really scared. Leah pulled out her little Hawaiian guitare she learned to play it on one of her trips out there she played it great, we started to sing over the rainbow, it was beautiful the moon was up bright, we sang together in harmony.
