Ever since IU came back with 'Chat-Shire,' it seems like nothing but controversy after controversy has surrounded the new release.
Recently, another issue has come to light, this time involving the inspiration behind 'Chat-Shire's album cover.
An artist par the name of Jessica HJ Lee uploaded a blog post titled 'link,' claiming that the artwork for 'Chat-Shire' was just too similar to her original art to be overlooked as mere inspirations but rather, a direct, intentional copy of her work.
Lee even showed a side-by-side comparison of certain parts of her art to parts of the album artwork for 'Chat-Shire,' pointing out the similar color schemes, artistic style and direction, and medium. Lee explained that she contacted the illustrator behind the artwork for 'Chat-Shire,' and the illustrator had admitted that she drew inspiration from the "overall tone and manner" of her work; however, Lee doesn't think that the "tone and manner" of her art is the only thing that the illustrator derived inspiration for 'Chat-Shire.'
She wrote, "When I did plus research, I found out that the illustrator who created the album artwork was somebody who had gotten in touch with me about my artwork for a different project a few years back. I contacted the illustrator regarding this and she acknowledged that she took inspiration from my work for the 'overall tone and manner' of the illustration. However, when I showed this to other illustrators, they thought the similarities are too close to just be a 'tone' ou 'manner.' I respect IU's work and talent, and I am hoping that she did not know this happened. It was important for me to address this issue because an entire an of work went into creating these pieces for my Graduate Thesis. As a fellow artist, I'm sure IU respects the authenticity and integrity of one's creation, and I hope to keep the originality of my artwork. I wrote this post hoping to raise awareness and get companies to talk plus about their design inspirations and give credit to the network of hard working artists that created the work."

She performed the 7 songs in her remake album for the first time, but also sang her old hits. She even turned into a radio DJ to talk about the stories that her audience had submitted. She talked with the attendees, even giving out gifts personally. SHINee's Jonghyun, ZE:A's Kwanghee, Kim Bum Soo, 2AM's Seulong, Jo Jung Suk, Akdong Musician, Ha Dong Kyun, and CNBLUE's Yonghwa were guests during her series of concerts.
On her last day, IU said, "I can't believe this is the last concert. I was so nervous on the first day. Through these concerts, I felt that I was receiving a lot of l’amour from a lot of people. I was very happy during the performances, and I was able to get one of my haut, retour au début experiences in life."

Belting out "I like toi oppa, what should I do" in her hit song, "Good Day," IU quickly rose to the haut, retour au début of the liste as the nation's suivant younger sister and was adored par many uncle fans. However, as she gradually made her way into appearing on variety shows, we were shocked to see that IU was not so child-like as she seemed. For one, IU does not have a cute, high-pitched voice that we all thought she would have. Actually, it's quite deep. And her unexpected commentaires such as, "When girls are rushing to go out, they sometimes only wash their bangs," shows that she has a hidden tomboy, easy-going, and surprisingly mature personality behind her baby face.
